This hotel is an excellent place to stay to visit Cortina. The spa facilities are really top notch, our room was really lovely, the location is good, and the staff are exceptional. We really respected the effort the hotel staff put into accommodating us on every level. I cannot say enough to recommend it.

New and with all the possible comforts. I got an upgrade for free in a larger room. Great value for money. Very close to the center (5 minutes by car) and they offer also transfers to the center free of charge.

The spa hours were a little bit short, we would love to use it in the mornings with our son but it was open from midday only. However we were allowed to use them after check out so that was appreciated

Absolutely loved the balcony looking over rooftops of Rovinji to the sea. Most amazing renovation- beautifully designed, sophisticated, and respecting the historic building. Charming and classy. Breakfast (and dinner) was amazing- very generous and food was delicious.

Super friendly and helpful staff who make me feel like home. Awesome spa facilities with nice chill out area, ice cold fruit infused water, fairly long opening hours. Very good breakfast with a variety of warm, cold options, fruits and baked goods. Dinner at restaurant is great too.

Amazing spa facilities, extremely nice staff and well kept and clean. Complimentary shuttle service into Cortina centre was great and also the ski room/bike storage.

“Classy and luxurious hotel!”

It’s true, the staff couldn’t have done more. We had several requests during our stay (daily shuttles, room service, taxi bookings, a fan change in the room), and they delivered on every one, going above and beyond each time. We stayed in Room 45, and the view from our balcony was breathtaking. We spent most evenings enjoying it with a cup of tea, a perfect way to unwind. The location is slightly further out of town, but we knew that when we booked and actually loved the walk. If you’re driving, it’s no issue at all. During the main hours of the day, we could call the hotel and they would pick us up from the town centre, which was amazing. Breakfast was also lovely, with coffees and eggs made to order, alongside a huge buffet selection. The room was cleaned twice a day, with chocolates left in the evening. Another thoughtful touch. We also loved the spa after a day of hiking. It never felt too busy or loud, and the adults-only hours (6 to 8 pm) were a nice bonus. The cherry on top came on our last day. We were at risk of missing our bus to Venice, and the receptionist personally drove us in his own car to make sure we didn’t miss it. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Cortina.

Outstanding experience in the rooms of the new building—modern, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The staff is exceptionally friendly, professional, and always ready to help or listen. Breakfast offers a generous selection, and the hotel restaurant serves very good food. The spa area is another highlight—perfect for unwinding after a day outdoors. Highly recommended.

Had an amazing honeymoon stay at Lajadira! We were welcomed extremely warmly and the service from the staff was 10/10 from there on through the entire stay. The spa is perfect and well equipped. The room was great and had a beautiful balcony with awesome view of the mountains. Everything was super clean. The hotel restaurant was really really good, and we enjoyed two great dinners there, with amazing service from the restaurant staff. Breakfast really good as well! Thank you for a great time in Cortina!!

“Well positioned and friendly staff.”

The staff were super friendly and accomodating. We enjoyed the bar and dining facilities. They had a good choice of red wine and the evening menu in the dining room was superb. Breakfast was always fun with Ciro and Fredirica. My favourite part of the hotel was the spa. So very relaxing after a day skiing. We had a couple of spa treatments and can highly recommend Sara and Anna. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return if in Cortina again.
