The property is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious and very clean. However, despite the name suggesting a B&B, I asked about breakfast options and was informed that breakfast is not available and that the name has no real meaning. Coffee and some cookies were in the room. As I arrived late, I also asked about getting a table in their fairly large restaurant, which was just about to open and still empty at the time. I was told there would definitely be no table available for a single person, and maybe something could be arranged around 10 p.m. The communication it was only possible in Italian, which can make things quite difficult for some non italian speakers. The place itself and the surrounding area are very beautiful, but only a true hospitality is what makes a hotel a great one.

“Best choice in the area. Stayed there for the second time.”
Old style with lots of antiques, nicely renovated with a lot of charm. Every room is different. There is also a good restaurant (locanda pieve) on the ground floor.

Incredibely stylish; the rooms & the restaurant. Very good fresh local cuisine with an excellent wine collection. I chose a wine from the next door!
