“Incredible location”

The location by the river is stunning. The restaurant was the most delicious we had in Corsica. Having the pool to relax in after a long day of walking was perfect. We’d really recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the area.

“Great Base for Outdoor Adventures”

We really enjoyed the breakfast — absolutely the best part, with homemade products and the warm hospitality of the lady who served us every morning. The location was perfect as a base for cycling and hiking. The pool was very pleasant with a lovely atmosphere, and having easy access to the river behind the hotel was a great bonus. The internet and parking facilities were also good.

The location is excellent - right by the river and with easy access to Corte and to the rest of the valley (at least the little of it that is currently open to traffic). Breakfast was good, if limited. Some hot options (other than just boiled eggs) would have been welcome. The restaurant offered good quality food, an open fire, a modest range of cocktails and efficient service - at a price. The next evening, we ate equally well in Corte for a lot less money.

Beautiful location! And so calm! Friendly staff - at the reception and breakfast. Lovely swimming pool, perfect for cooling down. The adjacent restaurant is fantastic.

“A lovely hotel in a gorgeous setting.”

Spacious accommodation on two floors with 2 huge beds. Dinner was served with the sliding doors open and the sound of the river running over the rocks was delightful. The setting with views of the hills and the river was magical. The outdoor pool was gorgeous and large swimming towels were provided. The staff were very helpful and friendly and made a big effort to understand our rudimentary French.

“Simply fabulous!”

Beautiful property, nestled into the Restonica valley and immediately adjacent to the river, which flowed through the grounds, quite idyllic. Lovely outdoor pool area, which was great for relaxing after a day out hiking. Our room was beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We reserved a table at the hotel restaurant on our first night. The menu was amazing, the portions huge and the food delicious. All the staff serving there and the hotel were, without exception, incredibly friendly. On our second night, we opted to drive in to Corte for our meal. Breakfast was a simple, but very ample, selection of cereals, breads, ham, cheese and so forth. It was served on the outdoor terrace, making for a lovely start to the day. Very happy to recommend this hotel and it’s super friendly staff.

We loved the location, perfect for exploring the beautiful river that runs alongside the hotel. We also thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal so pleased we booked a table beforehand

This is a beautiful boutique hotel in a spectacular valley. We had a family room which was very comfortable. The bedroom is up a spiral staircase, and the lounge area downstairs was really spacious. We really enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful location next the river. Quiet room. Lovely dinner on terrace. Access to river at end of the garden. Excellent dinner. Lovely staff. Ample parking. Will return!

“Just what we wanted down memory lane!”

A return after 29 years to where we stayed for our honeymoon. Little had changes except rooms had been improved. Restaurant was still exceptional.

“Did not meet expectations”

The hotel is located at a very impressive spot by the river, it really feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere. It has a nice outdoor sitting area and nice looking restaurant (although we didn’t try it)

“Great base for hiking, fabulous pool, fantastic restaurant!”

This is a nice hotel located in the Restonica Valley. It's a great base if you plan on hiking in the valley. It's imperative to have a car to stay here, and they have a large free parking lot. The room was clean and comfortable and looked exactly like the pictures on Booking.com. The pool is amazing, and a wonderful place to relax after your day hiking. There is a fabulous restaurant attached to the hotel, with great food and staff - be sure to book ahead.

Fabulous peaceful location next to the Restonica gorge river. Terrace overlooking the gorge, great pool, river swimming if you fancy it, lovely forest walks. Friendly and efficient staff and a good restaurant.

I’d definitelly recommend this place to everyone who’s looking for a nice and quite place that is also nearby to the city centre (approximately 2km, 30min walk). Room was very clean, with comfortable beds, interior and exterior of the hotel were also very nice. There’s nothing I can compliant about

“An utterly relaxing stay in the midst of dramatic scenery”

Utterly seductive spot for a hotel, at the head of one of the most beautiful and dramatic valleys on the island and on the banks of the sparkling pools of the river. The pool is delightful and the rooms very clean and comfortable. Breakfast on the dappled terrace is worth every penny. Will most definitely return.

“Stunning location”

The location is simply stunning, in a narrow valley beside a river. Sitting by the pool, you cannot help being in awe of the surroundings. For cold water lovers, the river has several spots where you can swim as well, though reaching these may involve some clambering over the rocks and boulders. The restaurant is excellent, with attentive staff and tasty dishes.
