Thev location was perfect, practically on the beach, about a 30 minute walk along the seafront to the town centre and a short walk to the beautiful grandes playas

“Our best post-covid holiday and staying in a detached villa much more enjoyable than a hotel.”
We picked this villa for its proximity to the dunes and the great beach. We also knew it was close the bus stop so easy to get the number 6 bus to and from town. The villa was lovely for the two of us, well equipped, comfortable and very quiet and we would have liked to stay longer. We only used the kitchen for toast and tea for breakfast, we could have prepared cooked meals but we liked to go into town and eat out (Avenida was a favourite restaurant). The first week was very windy so we liked having the sun loungers in the compact garden for protection from the wind and sand but after that it was a short stroll to the dunes. The bathroom was spacious and the shower very powerful but beware the water can be very hot. We kept the fridge well stocked with wine and enjoyed sitting out on the very comfy furniture for a nightcap or two, the fridge was very cold so we turned down the setting and we also took our own freezer bags to make ice-cubes although there was a small ice-cube tray in the freezer.
