The house is located in a quiet area. There is a Hiperdino - Canarian cheap supermarket chain - just a couple of minutes walking at El Campanario in Corralejo but it is not mentioned on the Eat & Drink section of booking.com and the bus station is 5 minutes away walking. I liked the idea of using bed number baskets to storage the food in the fridge and the kitchen cabinets. The volunteers running the house when I was there were lovely, so chatty and kind asking you how you felt at the house and how your day had been making nice vibes. They also follow a daily roster to keep the house clean and tidy and provide you a bath towel on arrival. We even shared a great BBQ on Friday evening! If you want to learn surfing, you get discounts for your lessons with your booking.

I was sceptical due to quite few reviews on negative side. However, based on experience in 4 Canary Islands and various cities in Europe. This place would be rated 9/10 or 10/10. Everything is perfect…best neighbourhood, very positive and welcoming staff, nice friendly people, very clean, also very important the rooms have good air exchange. Well Recommend.

Really friendly, good space, comfortable beds, nice bathroom, towel provided. We missed that bookings are supposed to be aged 18-40 only (we were older!) but the owner let us stay anyway. Worth checking before you book though

Took a while to find at first. Staff pleasant enough.

Perfect place to stop for a surf lesson, explore the dunes, or chat with the hostel volunteers. The space was incredibly clean and well-organized, all thanks to the wonderful Marta, while Barbie brought fun and lively conversation. It’s a great spot to meet new friends and enjoy a good chat, yet still peaceful in the evenings. Highly recommended—I’ll be back soon!

“Cheap and cheerful”

It’s the value for money that made this worthwhile,cheapest there is but you get what you pay for. I had a bed in the three bed room but there are 17 people sleeping downstairs with one bathroom. It’s clean, there’s a small space to cook, there’s a fridge and space for cupboard foods. It’s near town and the beaches and surf.

Great place , good value for money, great location , close to corralejo dunes. I met some great people. Some BBQ were organised which was great chance to get to know other fellow travellers. Facilities were clean and well kept.
