Clean hostel. Calm atmosphere. Good vibes. Safe area. Close to everything: cafe, restaurants , bus stops, market, coffe shops, bars, the center! The owner is very friendly and he helped me even before i arrive , i have only good and positive words to say about him and the hostel. I recommend it for anyone really. I would revisit for sure. “AGRESSIVE AND UNWELCOME STAFF”

Worst experience I've ever had at a hostel in my 5 years travelling and staying in hostel around the whole world. I arrived at this hostel after hours of flight and was denied any assistance before check-in time what was obly 17h.. I wasn't even allowed to leave a heavy suitcase or use the bathroom, even though I was in an isolated area with no nearby options to turn to. Ok that the check in time was at 17h but once there are people in the place it is a totally lack of hospitality you deny the guest to access the toilet very quick! After much insistence, they agreed to let me use the bathroom very quickly as it was the only thing that I had to begging for, but then they started making disrespectful comments about me in Spanish, apparently believing I didn't understand. Since I speak Spanish, I confronted the situation. From then on, the two men employees present constantly raised their voices, acting in an intimidating and aggressive manner. As a woman traveling alone, I felt extremely uncomfortable, unsafe and terrified of such an unacceptable situation. I received no assistance, empathy, or attempt to resolve the situation. I ended up having to leave without accommodation, without a refund, which the manager on the phone ALSO SCREAMING at me saying for me to leave so I could cancel the stay in the app and they would accept it with refund request. What booking.com needed their confirmation, and they didn’t provided anything and I didn’t received my refund after extremely horrible experience in their place. without any support, which turned my arrival into a real nightmare. I had to walk miles looking for a new place, searching, with a very heavy backpack, lose my entire “trip day” because of these uneducated and crazy guys! I do not recommend this place to anyone, especially women traveling alone. The level of disrespect, lack of professionalism, and lack of hospitality was shocking an disgusting as I have never seen anything like this before!

My favourite hostel on Fuerte! Because everything is great there, amazing gardens and terraces for chill, friendly staff, good kitchen and internet, comfortable bed and nice showers. Also it’s cheap and close to seaside and pretty everything 🤩

Everything was perfect! The staff are lovely, the location is 100 m from the ocean, the rooms are clean, you have all the amenities for cooking, and the terrace and garden make a great spot for both chilling and socialising.

Helpful, good spirited, humorous, and the lovliest of dogs ❤️ receving each one of us coming in through the garden gate. Just wonderful. Close to the center, restaurants, the port, waves, to the small beaches.
