“Road trip”
Hawthorn at padre island location was excellent 50 yards from the beach, the room was comfortable and the staff are great especially VB on reception.

“Good for family wanting to cook their meals as the room has a full range + micro + fridge + freezer”
Coffee was fresh and hot, and above average. Price for this room while not cheap by area standards it was fair. Didnot have to make a deposit against damage to the room as in other island motels. The location was convenient to Padre Island National Seashore and the National Park as this was our reason for visiting.
