We had a wonderful stay at The Funny Lion Coron. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Their genuine hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel was comfortable, well-maintained, and a great base for exploring Coron. Highly recommended!

They were very welcoming, super kind and helpful. The place is really beautiful, clean, and the rooms were a pleasure to stay in. The location is perfect too. They helped us with all our requests, and offered many services. Drinks and food were perfect. Everything was better than expected.

I’ll find it really hard to believe there’s better accomodation to stay in at Coron when it comes to overall vibe and staff willingness to attend to guest needs. It’s the first property I’ve stayed in where I preferred to have a day in then out. Weekly buffets and entertainment are amazing, double pool area is great. Rooms are spectacular, loved the vanity areas behind the bedroom. Staff are A+ very accomodating and friendly. Rooftop bar area is great for sunsets and pizza. All our tours were managed by Funny Lion. Best place I’ve ever stayed in overall. Would love to visit again.

Funny Lion Coron was just amazing! It was so easy for us to feel at home. There were so many things about Funny Lion that just added to the charm of our entire stay. From the daily meriendas, the room treats and samalamig, there was always a little surprise to look forward to everyday. It was also so convenient to just pass by the restaurant to get a water, or any drink, or approach anyone for assistance for just anything. Happy Hour at Pride Rock is also amazing because of the sunset view and the small pools. The staff was the best part. They are the sweetest and most accommodating people while still of course remaining professional. They helped make our stay in Coron so seamless. Shout out to the team for running the entire place so well.

It's such a small and boutique hotel but close enough to Coron if you wanted to go in. The staff were SO good. The decor was beautiful.

Pools and happy hour. Amazing roof top bar with spas looking over spectacular views. Buffet was hood range of food. Transport arranged was reasonable. The staff were very helpful and on arrival provided complimentary drink, tour of facilities and rooms along with funny lion gifts.

We had a wonderful stay at this boutique hotel. The design is beautiful — stylish, elegant, and thoughtfully created in every detail. The service was more than excellent: efficient, professional, and always delivered with a warm smile. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming throughout our stay. A very special thank you to Cloui, who organized such a lovely surprise for our 30th anniversary, which we celebrated while staying at the resort. It was truly touching and made our celebration even more memorable. We would also like to especially thank Ef from the morning breakfast service for the excellent care and attention. We apologize for not remembering all the other names, but we are sincerely grateful to the entire team. The location is very good — peaceful, quiet, and with a calm atmosphere that allows you to relax fully. Although there is no direct access to the beach, it was not a problem for us, since most day tours are out at sea anyway. Overall, an exceptional experience, and we would happily return. Highly recommended!

The staff was really friendly and helpful. Room was big. Welcome drinks. 2 pools in the hotel. Free bikes availlable. Breakfast was really good with fresh local coffee and fresh local hot chocolate. Van to the airport offered at standard price for coron. Free drinks in the fridge in the room with yummy fruit cocktails and fresh local coffee.

Beautiful accommodation- bed was comfortable We had one of the container rooms above the lap pool. Great room, big size, big bed. Clean and all facilities were fantastic! Included drinks in the mini bar and an evening turn down service with sweets. Good breakfast. Everything was thought of. Towels by pool, towels and beach bag for any tours, tricycles out the front for ease into town.

The whole staffs of Funny Lion are all amazingly friendly. They all have readily smiles. Approachable. And helpful in any ways. What's more is that they were very keen on their customer's personal info like birthdays or anniversaries. I, for one, got a wonderful surprise of my life with an advance greet my birthday. Like..when we entered our room after a long day in the beach, our room was exceptionally dark, unlighted which was never a practice at the hotel. When we put on the light, our bed was covered with plenty of pink balloons and an artwork of elephant towel. By the side of our bed was a birthday cake and utensils. And on the TV monitor was a big greeting of Happy Birthday. Is this not awesome? The sweetness and thoughtfulness is so impressive !!!
