“Disappointed, I wasted my money!”

Nothing! I only stayed one night at the hostel. Because this is not a hostel! It's worse than a guesthouse! And I've stayed in many guesthouses throughout my 52 years! This is in my top five worst hotel/guesthouse experiences! There are 8 beds in an extremely cramped space, the bed linen smelled awful and triggered my sinusitis. Besides being black, which hides the dirt! The toilet is inside the room, meaning I could hear other people's farts as well as my loud ones! The room door opens directly onto the street! The place is desolate and highly unsafe. When I went to return the key, a crazy guy almost attacked me in the street! How can I feel safe in a place like that? I threw my money away! 1850php. Then I rented the HOP Hostel. Then my life changed, clean beds smelling of fabric softener, large rooms, a fantastic experience! When I returned to the J&J trash can, they were already using my locker.

Excellent staff very friendly. The hostel is very nice and comfortable and would need very little things to be perfect. Unfortunately the room is very dirty, as the bathroom i stayed for 4 nights and nobody ever came to do a general cleaning of the room ( i know because the same piece of crackers left by someone was there from check in since checkout. Bathroom same even if its slightly better as i looks clean. However very often is without toilet paper.

The staff are so kind and such lovely people ! The beds are very comfy and everything is very clean. A/C works very well and the location is quite nice. You need to walk 5 mins up a hill, but it’s quick and right next to the start of the sunset trail !

Nice cheap budget style hostel. Beds were comfy and everything was clean. The staff were super friendly and helpful with anything at all. They were very helpful with booking tours and arranging transport from the airport.

The property was good it was up on the mountain but still very close to everything. We had everything that we needed. They organised our transport to the airport which was great and beside lovely places to eat

Good aircon, comfortable mattress, location just up a hill but only 7 minutes walk to bars/ restaurant main strip. Free water, coffee and tea. They do a good breakfast and have a good laundry service. Nice family running the place, along with some friendly staff. Large lockers that can hold a large suitcase with space to spare, just bring your own padlock

The beds are comfy and the temperature was also cold enough for me. It also seemed pretty clean and I felt comfortable sleeping here. I’d definitely recommend this budget-friendly hostel!

I don't normally leave reviews here, but this place needs one. These people were so kind, constantly asking if I was okay or if I needed anything. The rooms are also beautiful. Clean, and the bed is very comfortable; everything feels brand new. They were able to arrange everything I needed: food, getting me a scooter, tours, etc. I would definitely come back. Thanks for everything 🤎

When we arrived there was insanly many mosquitoes in the room, it really was unbareble. The owner helped us get rid of most of them but was still a few which is okey. The price on the laundary is expensive (but its almost the same on the hole island). I recommend to plan your laundry for berfore or after Coron if you are traveling for a long time. The homestay has free water. Beds are not that comfortable. But it was okey for the price. Its one toilet and one shower in each room.
