Lita’s Place is nestled within the mountains of Cordilleras Abajo on the edge of Volcan Baru. Every lodging location has a different mix of scenery between the river, the pond, mountains, and the distant ocean. Lita’s can accommodate guests year-round due to the temperate winter and summer climate. The summer rains boast a lush landscape while the whole year stays within temperatures of 14-20 Celsius. Accommodations include a living room, fully equipped kitchens, and private bathrooms. Lita’s Place is small dog friendly with advanced notice and a pet fee. The base-rate consists of two persons, each additional person will incur an additional charge until the maximum room limit. The property covers three hectares and features gardens, a koi and tilapia pond that guests can fish for tilapia in. The estate is a working hacienda that is a sanctuary to a variety of animals in need of a temporary or a permanent home, including a pygmy monkey, owls, and dogs. The property is perfect for birdwatching as it sees a large variety of birds come through due to the area’s location on migratory routes. All guests have access to hammocks, chairs, and barbecue accommodations in addition to self-guided hiking. Volcan Baru National Park is within 15 kilometers. Additional activities nearby include a 15 to 18 meter repel down Canyon Macho Monte. The city of Cerro Punta is also only 30 kilometers away.

The Cabana Verde is a private cabana and features separate living and kitchen areas, with the bathroom in the center. It has a private patio with valley view, BBQ grill, hammock and chairs. Inside features a larger flat-screen TV and DVD player, and all of the other amenities included in our accommodations. A bohio behind the cabana can be used, it features benched seating, 7 hammocks, and a view of the Pacific Ocean. The Green Cabin has sleeping accommodations for up to 15 guests and the kitchen is practical and equipped for basic cooking.
