Old property in the woods, was close to the wedding reception I was attending One of the rooms had just been refurbished to a good standard with a brand new bathroom (the other not) The owner called the next day when he realised we had forfeited both rooms (and had slept somewhere else) to get feedback and talk through the issues. He was keen to understand what to do better for his guests. He offered a discount on room if we ever come again (we probably won’t).

Anl, Idyllic, authentic, peaceful and comfortable place to stay. We received a very warm welcome and breakfast was delicious with lovely fresh produce in a beautiful dining room accessed up a winding stone staircase - the perfect start to our day. Our room was quiet and very comfortable and we had the best sleep we have had in a long time! We enjoyed our swim in the pool and were sorry not to have time to walk in the woodland. We were recommended an excellent restaurant a few minutes straightforward drive away where we had a very good meal. Our stay was only overnight but we very much wished we were staying longer.

It was an idyllic place for relaxation. Chateau is in a very peaceful place away from the buzz of the city, which was what we were looking for. Chateau has a very unique feel to it. The host was very friendly and helpful. We felt very welcomed there. Will definitely be coming back.

A lovely old property with much history appealing to French and British visitors, and indeed to Channel Island travellers (the CI is the last part of the Duchy of Normandy). The host was excellent and breakfast very good.

We loved our stay at the Ferme-Chateau and will stay again. However, if your idea of the perfect stay is Ibis Style, this probably is not for you. The chateau is very French, very relaxed and friendly. It is bed and breakfast with spa fascilities but Falaise is only a five minute drive away, where there are restaurants and bars. Morgan keeps a small stock of drinks that we were able to order when we arrived. Rooms are spacious with large comfortable beds, decorated in a French style and air conditioned. The indoor swimming pool is perfect on a hot day. Breakfast is simple but all that is needed.
