“Lovely hosts, charming location - don't hesitate to book your stay!”

We were visiting Verdun and seeing various WWI attractions. This location was wonderful - about a 20 min drive from the main battlefield in a lovely town. The "Chambres D'Hotes" concept is new to us but was wonderful. We were served a wonderful and abundant dinner of pork loin, potatoes and zuchinni timbale, after have enjoyed a tasty appetizer of quiche lorraine. The atmosphere was charming, the hosts very welcoming, kind and friendly. The room was quite comfortable for our family of 3 adults traveling together.

Lovely owners: good breakfast; friendly; lovely surroundings. Owners off a home-cooked evening meal which is not to be missed - wonderful.

Lovely stay and very nice hosts. Good breakfast and beautiful location in a quiet village next to the river. We will be back!

Evening meal 4 courses plus wine prepared by Madame excellent value for money.

Very warm owners! Warm, very clean, original French style house with a family history. Recommend to take dinner and breakfast options. Food was very tasty and allowed to feel French atmosphere. Best place to stay when visiting this region :)

Rooms very clean and quiet. Dinner delicious and taking into consideration individual requests (e.g. no gluten). Breakfast more than sufficient. Located nicely in the countryside, close enough to all visiting sites.

This is a French Chambres D'hotes, which are similar to english B&B's, with this in mind, if you like staying in B&B's rather than Hotels then we would certainly recommend this one. It is set in an un-spoilt village close to Verdun (scene of major 1st world war battle between French and German troops- lots of local history)and our hosts could not have been more accommodating from the pleasant welcome to the genuine goodbye wishes. The building is a traditional French town house with polished wooden floors and although some noise travels on the stairs we had an incredibly quite and peaceful night. Our room (the blue room) was comfortable and although the en suite was basic it was spotless and the shower powerful and hot. Breakfast was very good with local produce and a great choice of teas and refills on the coffee - very welcome. Parking is easy and plentiful, just across the road next to the river.

Quiet location, ample parking across the road. Pleasant breakfast. There is a small bar across the road for a drink where they do serve food too, but get in early, as it closed by 20:15. The host also offered dinner for an additional €25ppThe host allowed us to leave 30min later at 10:30am, which helped for a less rushed morning exit. Overall a pleasant stay for the price.

“Amazing stay and good value!”

Amazing stay! The hosts were lovely and made sure our stay was perfect. Simple but great room with a nice bathroom. The home cooked dinners were great and we loved sitting in the garden to eat and just relax. The host showed us what we could do in the area, which was really thoughtful.

Everything was really nice! Felt like the familiarity of visiting grandparents. Deliciously cooked food, friendly and open hosts, superb landscapes in the vicinity. I recommended this place to friends as well and I will definitely book it again for my next trip in the area.

Lovely Gites de France in a private house Quiet location with car park opposite. Very good home cooked dinner and breakfast . Close to Verdun and its memorials. Very welcoming hosts....No issues at all.
