The hostel is located away from the hustle of the city, so it’s a good place to relax and enjoy the quiet. The decorations in the garden and the art in the rooms makes for a unique and welcome athmoaphere. The host war incredibly warm and welcoming. And there was even hot water in the shower.

“Lovely hosts and a beautiful little garden and art shop inside the property. Easy walk to town.”
Very friendly host who suggested restaurants in town. The room was clean and I had a nice view of the hills and streets. Ataco is beautiful! The owners are artists and there are items for sale in the entryway. There is also a nice little garden area.

“Casa Mafer is one of those places that you do not easily forget.”
A relatively new place in Ataco and new to Booking.com. We could not see on the basis of the reviews if the place was appreciated or not, but it definitely was. Casa Mafer is a well managed, proper and laid back hostal with amazing owners. Our rooms was clean, big enough for two people and the shower was warm/hot. The owners are very helpful in providing information and make sure that you have your coffee and a nice conversation during the mornings and the afternoon. Casa de Mafer is centrally located in Ruta de Las Floras as it is easily reached by bus. The location in Ataco is in a quiet street with restaurants and shops in close proximity.
