“Stunning view and beautiful countryside”
, The apartment was beautiful and spacious. The view from the villa windows ( montana ) was fabulous. The pool and terrace are well maintained and there are plenty of sun beds and chairs. Having a jacuzzi was an added bonus. The roads from competa are very steep and not suitable for anyone with poor mobility. We managed to walk down to the village which is beautiful. It took us about 20 minutes

“Casa Alma”
We (a couple plus our 12 year old daughter) absolutely loved our holiday at the beautiful Casa Alma. The apartment is compact but has everything needed for a comfortable stay including a well equipped kitchenette. The shared terrace was lovely, with plenty of loungers and parasols, a pristine pool and gorgeous views over the town and mountains, all the way down to the sea. It was also great to have a small private terrace with equally lovely views for when we wanted to chill out quietly or eat our meals outside. Competa itself is a wonderful little town, full of character with lots of great places to eat and drink, amenities such as supermarkets and friendly locals. Rafa was a great host and checked in with us by text several times during our stay asking if we needed anything and giving advice about where to go etc. Despite the 30+ degree heat it remained lovely and cool in the apartment - there is air con but we only felt the need to use it a couple of times. We would definitely recommend this place (subject to comments on accessibility below) and hope to return and maybe experience it in a different season.

“Perfect apartment in the mountains”
We loved our private patio. Spent most of our time out there. The pool area was beautiful with a good choice of shade/sun. The views were amazing. The air-conditioning was most welcome. Competa is a great town and we soon felt at home. Great location to visit Malaga, Granada, Salobrena, Frigliania and some cracking beaches.

Beautiful pool area. Plenty of crockery and a well laid put apartment. Air-conditioning was great and the plants and setting was beautiful. Pur host was very friendly and went out of his way ti make it a great stay. We forgot to buy coffee and he even went and got us some. Amazing.

A great comfortable apartment with magnificent views across the mountains. At the very top of the village. A fantastic pool area with great views and great host. Made us feel very welcomed even picking us up from the bus stop.

Fantastic house very spanish style with a beautiful pool area. Tremendous views over Cómpeta and surrounding landscape. Perfect place for hiking in the area.

“Great find”
Amazing views, comfortable accommodation and use of outdoor areas. Definitely need a car to explore the area. Walk into the village is quite steep but was expected in this area.
