Lovely central location in this small town. The rooms were very interesting and quirky, also very clean. The host Didou was very kind, and we managed to communicate ok even though our French is terrible (he doesn't speak much English). He ran to the supermarket especially to get me some gluten free bread which was much appreciated, and even helped with the suitcases up the stairs. We liked the pool table too!

Excellent location right in the center of the town, walking distance to nearby restaurants, very accommodating host that went out of his way to make our stay as pleasant as possible.Even made more of his lovely crepes for us to bring as we left to continue our trip.

We were warmly greeted on a rainy day. Didou and his partner were so friendly and accommodating, they made us a cup of tea and we had a lovely chat (well, my wife did most of it... as she wanted to try out her French!). The hosts even booked us a quiet table in a nearby restaurant, knowing we were tired and hungry from our journey. We came by motorbike, which was safely stowed and our wet gear dried off in their' garage. Nothing was too much trouble. It was like being looked after by a kind uncle! The bed was possibly the most comfortable we have ever slept in and huge! We loved the decor everywhere and it felt homely as well as quirky and cool. Breakfast was amazing... homemade crepes with jams, honey, chocolate spread... and homemade lemon yoghurt... Oh wow. This was our first night in France and set a very high bar for the rest of the week's hotels. Thank you Didou.

The house is extremely original and carefully furnished with a lot of beautiful details. The owner is extremely nice and welcoming and he can cook extremely good crepes in the morning with his home made caramel and jams. The room is clean and beautiful. Location is in the middle of the city.

The place is amazing, with very special corners full of stories. We have loved our apartment under the roof, and the wonderful breakfasts prepared by the host Didier. We really would have stayed more in our travel of two weeks! This was one of the best spot! And location is perfect to go anywhere, either Normandy or Bretagne.

A lovely host, great vintage / antique interior and great crêpe breakfast. Location was great, in the Main Street of Combourg. The snooker table is fun and the outside area is good to read a book. We had a great time and would definitely book again one day!
