Overview
Located at the foot of Combourg Castle and on the edge of the lake, Hôtel Restaurant du Lac offers accomodation 30 km from Dinan. The hotel features a restaurant, a bar and meeting rooms. Some of the rooms are accessed by a staircase and offers views of the lake. All rooms comes with a bathroom fitted with a bath or shower, free toiletries and a hairdryer. In the morning, guests can choose either the continental breakfast formula, which includes a hot drink, a croissant, an orange juice, some baguette, butter and jams or the buffet breakfast formula, which includes all continental breakfast items and yogurt, a local specialty, brioche, corn flakes, soft bread, cheese and ham. At the restaurant, the chef offers seasonal regional cuisine which can be enjoyed as you admire the view over the lake. Free parking is provided at the Hôtel Restaurant du Lac. “Excellent location to stay for this charming little town.”
Excellent communication, we had been given instructions and checked in with nobody present. A code allowed access, inside were clear instructions at the reception.

“Ideal location for a peaceful stay”
This is an old fashioned hotel, and I mean that in a good way. It feels family run, the staff are so welcoming and freindly, even the keys are real keys and not bits of plastic. The location is lovely, overlooking Combourg's lake, the public areas are fine, I enjoyed an overlong nightcap in the bar! I had a great night's sleep in a super comfy bed. It was so peaceful I assumed that the hotel was nearly empty at the end of a season. I was surprised to see how busy it was for the breakfast serving, it obviosuly attracts nice quiet guests!

“Lovely stay near the castle and lake!”
We have truly enjoyed our stay at this quiet and lovely place! We'd like to express our special thanks to the host for being kind and flexible, allowing us to come after the standard check-in hours. The lake view from the restaurant, as well as the castle view from the bedroom were gorgeous, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was generous and the morning walk around the castle gardens was nice and relaxing❤️
