“it was decent. it was a good enough stay for a couple days”

i wish the employees would have knocked upon opening a door to clean. we had one employee walk into our room @8 in the morning without a knock or a heads up. i understand they have a sign that says “lock the door if your inside” or something along the lines of that. but there should be something where they can mark who is in what room. and shouldn’t bother them.

I am handicap. The elevator was not working. I had to walk the entire length of the building, up three stories, then back most of the building. I could not carry a suitcase so I had to make several trips. The clerk had a take it or leave attitude.

Perfect location for us to stay for my kid graduation restraunts were all close by staff was very polite and helpful

Staff was exceptional. Tyrell and Kita Night Audit clerks were excellent and the Front Office Manager and General Manager were very accommodating also. Thanks for a great stay!

It was dirty and nasty

“WAS REFUSED MY ROOM THAT HAD A RESERVATION AND WAS PAID FOR!!!!”

I booked my room at Motel 6 in Columbia, SC at around 11pm because I’m on the road & knew I needed to have a room reserved before midnight & I paid… It stated non- refundable- So I went ahead & paid through the Booking.com app… When we arrived at the hotel at 3:45am, the receptionist wouldn’t even speak to me about my reservation because “they were sold out of rooms” I tried explaining to her that one of the rooms was mine- Because I had already reserved & paid for it & she got extremely rude with me & told me that I had to wait until 3pm to check in- I told her that I understood that would be the case- If I were getting a room for Saturday- But my room was reserved & paid for for Friday & attempted to show her my phone with the reservation… She told me she wouldn’t even look at it because she “was doing her audit and I had to wait until 4am for the next business day to speak to her”… I told her I travel constantly & have NEVER heard of what she was talking about & again, that’s why I RESERVED the room & drove an hour & 15 minutes to get there & She told me “yeah- You should’ve called”… I THEN asked if I would get a refund & she just yelled at me that she was doing her audit… So I left. My husband then went inside to ask her name & she refused to give it to him. We’re now sleeping in the FREEZING cold in a gas station parking lot- Because we have nowhere to go.
