Overview
This iconic, historic, family-owned motel property is being given new life with a fun bicycle concept. Voted a top three hotel by the Colorado Springs Gazette readers, the property is 1.5 km from Garden of the Gods and 7 km from Pikes Peak Highway. Features include free bikes for guest use, seasonal outdoor heated pool, volleyball court. Lobby bar features all Colorado craft beer, wine and spirits with daily happy hour and complimentary concerts most days of the week. All air-conditioned all rooms equipped with microwave, small refrigerator, and Keurig coffee maker. Each room features an en suite bathroom. Select rooms offer kitchenettes and full kitchens. Free WiFi and a TV with cable channels are provided in each room. All rooms have been remodeled with bicycle theme with hard flooring no carpet and in room bike racks on the walls. Like a dude ranch for cyclists, you don't need to be a cyclist, but we offer opportunities to ride try out our free bikes for guest use. A spacious picnic area with barbecue facilities is available for functions. Free continental breakfast is served daily. Pikes Peak Highway and Cave of the Winds are 10 minutes' drive from the motel. Seven Falls is 15 minutes' drive from Buffalo Lodge Colorado Springs

“Magical place for a beautiful stay near Garden of the Gods.”
The free bicycles to ride and music in lodge was a fun bonus. Great staff -very attentive to your needs. Can’t beat the views of Garden of the Gods.

“Shorts stay while visiting Pikes Peak”
Room was good - reasonable size and clean. The breakfast offered was also good although basic. on two days of our three day stays the breakfast ran out of fruit (probably due to guests filling their pockets with them when they left). The whole place was really quirky and interesting - the live music each night was good

The meeting area was very nice. Live music was so much fun and a big plus. The room was comfortable, and the vibes of the whole place were great. It was well-located. We had a great long weekend overall with our babies.

“Unique experience would definitely recommend.”
Relaxed, charming property with great ambiance. Its bicycle theme is different and the room’s decor followed the theme in some very quirky ways like hooks made from bike parts. The room was spacious with plenty of places to put things, the benches at the end of the beds were really useful. Very clean room too. The reception/breakfast room/yoga studio/bar is a lovely place to relax with a big fireplace and plenty of bicycle and buffalo memorabilia to take in. The swimming pool is great to have too. All in all a great place to stay especially if you are biking or hiking locally.

The reception team were excellent and the room was very Quirky but comfortable. The cycles in the room helped to give it character. The entertainment in the evening was excellent.

Right beside Gardens of the Gods, longer walk to the Pike’s Peak shuttle. Short walk to very good restaurants. Saw one mule deer during my morning walk the first day, a herd the second. Bar on site. Pool was deep and clean.

Family cottage is located near the front of the property (no shared walls with other rooms). Entrance opens to a European style micro-kitchen with a small sink and 1-burner stove, dishes/cutlery, mini microwave, mini refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker. The living and dining areas feature a sleeper sofa, cable flatscreen TV and board games. Small bathroom has a shower over bathtub and toilet (no sink). 1 bedroom with a door has 1 king bed, clothes wardrobe and air conditioner/heater unit. 2nd bedroom with glass French door features 2 bunk beds (120 pound limit per bed-kids/teens only please), a small table and 2 chairs. The bunk bedroom opens to a small backyard with a table, 4 chairs, and a couple of lounge chairs. Views of Pikes Peak mountain from the backyard. Please note that there is only air conditioning in the king's bedroom. Other rooms have a fan and space heaters. Hair dryer and clothes iron are available upon request. Offering free toiletries, this family room includes a private bathroom with a bath, a shower and a hairdryer.
