“Amazing property”

We loved everything about this place. The cabins are beautiful, amazing craftsmanship. The surrounding area and pool are lovely as well. The food is delicious and the staff are very nice. They offered to book us a guide to take us to a near by waterfall which was amazing. I wish we had known that they provide that service sooner as the price was better than what we found in town.

I have given this property a poor score to draw people's attention to the access issues which are not mentioned in the property details. If the owners update their information to reflect these issues I will amend my score accordingly. ACCESS ISSUES We drove to the property from the north via Route 917. This is approx 25-30km of un surfaced track (hard stone). We had a Nissan X Trail 4x4 but you have to limit your speed to approx 20km/hrs to avoid damaging your vehicle. Allow approx 75 mins to drive the last 25km. When we left we went to thr Rincon De La Vieja national park. This took approx 2.5hrs for about 40km, not the 6min (3.1km) stated in the property details. The route we took was Route 918. This was a mixture of hard stone track and mud. There was one section that had been badly damaged by a lorry driving through with stone for repairs, which left large mud ruts in the middle of the track which our 4x4 just about cleared. This was our worst section of driving when in Costa Rica. We honestly didn't think we would get through it. With regards to the property, it was very nice, nice food, and very pleasant lady cooking and serving the food. It would benefit from a coffee making facility for early risers.

We loved the seclusion and the quiet of the property. The food was very good and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately the weather was very wet so we did not utilize the pool area. The cabaña was absolutely adorable and perfect for us.

Such a great place to stay. I'll come back. Super comfortable and cozy, super friendly staff and owner and amazing margaritas!! As well as breakfast. Honestly, I loved it.

Amazing facilities. Be warned the location is a bit remote and the roads to get here are difficult to traverse but once you’re here you won’t regret it. The staff are lovely and there is a restaurant on site that we only had delicious meals from ranging from European to local meals. “Great place to stay when visiting Costa Rica north of Rincon de La Vieja”

The cabin was clean and comfortable and the food at the restaurant was very good. Included breakfast was very good as well. The pool was clean and refreshing to hop into even though we didn't plan to.

Everything from the staff to the amenities and location made this place the best accommodation we had in our entire stay in Costa Rica. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone considering!
