“Bad kitchen”

Owners were friendly although weren't there that often, had to text and they would come. Aircon worked and the dining room was nice enough. Location was fine but a little out of old town.

It was very reasonable. Basic accommodation for a fair price.

Comfortable room, close to the ferry and bus terminal, short walk to the old town, nice dining area, comfortable bed and pillow, easy check in process and payment (could pay with credit card), nice and friendly host.

You get exactly what you expect for the price: a basic yet comfortable bed. The rooms have everything that's needed, incl a small table and a wardrobe. The shared bathroom is cleaned regularly. The staff is attentive and helpful :) There are multiple breakfast options

Very cosy and comfortable. It was close from the ferry and bus terminal and we could walk from there and towards there. Also they provided bikes for rental as well which made getting around the old town so much easier.

“Decent but not worth the money”

The staff were very friendly and helpful and even gave a breakfast to go, when we were leaving very early on our day of departure. It is located a short walk to the port and is in a quiet neighbourhood.

The staff were very friendly. The kitchen has all the basic stuff you need. Location is great. Wifi connection is fast.

The location is close to the bus station and ferry terminal to Argentina. But not central to the historical quarter. The bedding sheets were comfortable.

“Nice place in a good location”

Nice place in a good location to access everything in Colonia, close to the bus and ferry stations. Good Wi-Fi, AC unit and hot water in the shower and sink. Shared kitchen and communal area for eating. Free tea and water refill. It was very quiet when we were there which was perfect for us. We booked a shared bathroom but had it to ourselves. Simple breakfast of tea/coffee, orange juice and small croissants included in the price. You have to pay more for a bigger breakfast.

Great location, halfway between the bus terminal/ferry port and old city (walkable to both within 5 to 10 mins). Small, but clean room with comfortable bed, linens, and pillows. It was nice to have a heat and/or A/C unit in our room. Halls and bathroom were chilly because they did not have a heating unit. Hot water in tap was great. The shared bathroom was initially clean, but as more people used it, it showed normal signs of use. WiFi worked well. We had a small breakfast consisting of amazing fresh OJ, coffee, ans mini croissants included.

“Cozy and well-located place for stopover in Colonia”

Great location (walking to historic center in 10 minutes, and a few minutes to bus and ferry terminal, therefore great for a stopover between Montevideo and Buenos Aires). Very cozy hostel with attentive staff. Two breakfast options, the smaller for 4 USD including three medialunas, coffee, cereals and orange juice was perfect for us. Possibility to deposit the baggage between checkout and departure.

Good location, close to the ferry and bus terminal. The host let me leave my bags in the apartment after check out. There is a basic breakfast offered which can be upgraded at an additional cost
