We loved everything. It is beautiful property with mountain wiew. House had everything you needed when traveling. We had very relaxing time. We would strongly recommend this property for travel to Lake Como.

“A little gem and perfect base for exploring Lake Como”

The house is in a stunning location with lake views from the garden and the snow capped mountains in the backdrop. The outdoor seating area was wonderful for sitting outside including on an evening to have dinner and drinks. The house had everything we needed for a really comfortable stay. The hosts, Claudia and Lorenzo, are fabulous and were available throughout our stay to provide really helpful assistance and made us feel very welcome - Claudia even made restaurant reservations for us which was very kind. The town of Colico is just a 2 minute drive away which is a lovely peaceful base away from all the tourists yet also within easy driving distance to the more popular towns of Bellano and Varenna. There is a lovely pizzaria just a short stroll from the house and a lovely little promenade at Colico with some more restaurants and ice cream parlours. There is also a bike hire shop in Colico where we rented bikes and cycled north on a lovely scenic route.

Really cute property with lots of space (indoor and outdoor). Hosts were super helpful including helping us make plans for New Year’s Eve and sending lots of helpful recommendations. The town itself is nice and quiet, less touristy than some of the other towns around the lake but not very far from some of the larger towns like Varenna and Como. Great trip and was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle. Perfect for couples and small families. Peaceful and idyllic

The hosts were most hospitable. The property was so clean and the offerings were fantastic. The location was great and view was fantastic. It felt like home!

The property was gorgeous, on the grounds of the old mill, it had a wonderful garden that was available to use by all guests but also had a more private part with a table and bbq for outdoor dining. Inside was comfortable with air con and heating, everything you would need for a comfortable stay.

I liked everything about the house, it had a beautiful rustic style, a garden and table and chairs for having meals outside in the fresh air. All amenities required for a relaxing vacation, the host was very sweet and welcoming.

“Amazing stay, superb location, great hosts and totally unique living experience”

The location is absolutely terrific, but you need a car. Our house was new and spacious, twin kitchen-living room with the great expandable sofa, 2-level bedroom with 2 large beds - so totally enough for the family of 4. All clean and comfy. Absolutely increadible garden with barbeque facilities, parking, all nice, secure and with stunning views over the lake and onto mountains. You would need to spend a lot of time to find anything equal to this around, if at all.

The rental apartment at Molino Maufet was wonderful. Everything was well equipped and clean. We found the beds to be comfortable, the bathroom was good with a powerful shower and the living room and kitchen were well equipped and cozy. Both the interior and exterior areas were really good and made our stay exceptional. The service provided from Claudia, Lorenzo and their family was of the highest standard. They provided quick replies to any inquires - always ready to assist. The whole family is so nice and just the perfect hosts. We stayed during a very hot week but the air conditioning was a life saver during the warmest time of day/night and made staying inside easy. We had a private parking space, inside a locked gate, and never had to worry about the car being damaged or stolen. Also, Colico seems to be a very safe and easy going town so we felt very safe staying there and walking around the neighborhood. We were sad to leave and would love to come back one day.

The big garden with the trees and a swing with our own separate barbecue area. Also the view to the mountains and lake. The hosts were absolutely fabulous with everything prepared for travels like us unknown to the area. Thank you.
