I'm a regular to this place. I travel with my wife and a 40yrs old brother. we are normally booked into 1 room in the main building ( that will be me and the wife ) and my Brother will be booked outside. This time we were booked into 2 connecting rooms ,with a toilet and shower in the main bedroom. It took quiet some time for the alternative arrangement to be made for my younger brother. PS: I had booked a month ago, but I will go back there again.

This place ticks all of the boxes. Pet friendly; warm and comfortable beds with hot blankets; clean rooms and bathroom; fully equipped with kettle, fridge, tv, fans, etc; absolutely delicious breakfast; very good restaurants nearby within walking distance.

“It's a great place for an overnight stop over between Cape Town and Johannesburg.”
The convenience of having a great restaurant for supper only 1 house away was great! The staff were friendly and very assisting, even reminding us that we'd left our toothbrushes behind. The room was clean and organized, and a hearty hot breakfast was served before we left.

“Hystoric Colsberg”
It's a historic Colsberg house where you can re-live past with a guardian spirits around this property. Nanna is still around overlooking this property. Nicely located with the next door pleasant restaurant serving evening dishes. From 07:00 AM the establishment serves a very nice breakfast included in the accommodation price which is very convenient in the mornings. Well recommended
