The stay was okay for one night and the room itself was simple but decent. However, it was a pity that the main entrance/building shown first is not the authentic traditional architecture part of the property, which is actually hidden on the other side and much prettier. There were also some details that should have been taken care of better, especially cleanliness around the heating system and dust in some corners. The building is old and charming, but unfortunately the room was very cold even in May and not very well insulated. Overall fine for a short stay, but a bit more attention to comfort and maintenance would really improve the experience.

Great location if you don't have a car. (No cars are allowed in this part of the town, so we had to find parking and carry our bags down cobbled stone roads quite a distance. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon & there was no one in the hotel to meet us & we found our keys taped to the front of the outside door. The pension quaint, quirky. & full of history. Steep narrow stairs to get to our room & the creeky floors & beds added to the charm

Breakfast is not possible to get at the hotel Romantica but there is a large refrigerator to put your own food in. No staff at all but everything was explained on paper. The hotel is more just a room and best for people under 50 .

“The great choice for the stay in Cochem”
The location is great. It is in the heart of the old town and nearby is the bus station and the main train station. The room is clean and the facilities are comfortable. It's easy to contact with Pension Romantika and they give the detailed information and tips for your stay. I definitely book it again when having a chance to come back this beautiful Cochem region.
