Casita Feliz is the ideal place to relax. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and quiet. You'll have sunlight in your room, and some rooms even include a fridge and microwave. There's a fully equipped kitchen with appliances like a fridge, microwave, and blender. Additionally, there's a washing machine available. José, the host, is always accessible for any inquiries. He is highly socially engaged and provides excellent recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. José even introduced me to some of his friends, which I greatly appreciated. He is always ready to assist without hesitation, whatever your question or problem might be. It's an excellent spot for nomads looking to stay and work for a while. The desk offers a beautiful view for work, and wifi is accessible throughout the casita. Although located 2km from the center, it's situated in a lovely, quiet, and safe area. I feel completely safe walking in the streets, even at 10 pm. The Trufi is very easy accessible and very safe, even after dark. It takes you everywhere in the city! The surrounding parks are delightful for strolls and relaxation. There's even a park right in front of the casita. The best place I've been within the last year of my travels/nomad life in South America. Long-term travelers need, at some point, a place to let their minds and bodies rest, and this is the place! Originally, I hadn't planned to visit Cochabamba, and then I intended to stay for just one night. However, one month later, I'm still here, all thanks to the hospitality and professionalism of José, and the wonderful vibes of both the place and the city itself. I could go on endlessly about how delightful the place is, but you really have to experience it for yourself. Come and check it out! Thank you José!

I really enjoyed my stay here. Came for 2 days ended up staying 6 weeks. Jose is a massive legend and makes you feel like the place is your home. If you're lucky enough to get a room, you'll enjoy your stay.

“La Casita Feliz felt like home”

The host José is really lovely, you'll feel that he's doing everything with passion :) The room was really big and the shared kitchen had everything I've needed to cook some food :) it felt like cozy room-sharing apartment. I really like the style with the wood pallets :) The accommodation is located between Mercado Calatayud and the Cristo de la Concordia statue, both manageable by walking distance. José gave me also recommendations what to do in Cochabamba :) If my way will bring me back to Cochabamba one day, then I'd definitely try to get a room at La Casita Feliz again :) Thanks for everything and it was a pleasure to meet you, José!

José is an amazing host and we really loved staying here.

Jose was an amazing host, making us feel so comfortable and welcomed throughout our whole stay. He also has awesome tips about Cochabamba. Common areas were super clean and tidy. Located in nice and quite residential area, and right above a family owned restaurant, where they serve delicious (and cheap) meals.

We really liked the vibe of the hostel, and the incredibly welcoming, friendly and interesting host José! He told us he loves living Cochabamba, and he loves running his hostel, and you can definitely tell :) He put a lot of effort into trying to find a good party for us in the town, and made sure we could store our stuff until our night bus. The hostel is a perfect place for backpackers, it's easy to cook and share food, and there's a very nice common area. The double bedroom was very cute and comfortable as well.
