Everything. Sandy and her husband and daughter treat you like family. The cottage is decorated with exquisite taste, and the garden is a great place to relax, sipping coffee while watching the hummingbirds flutter among the flowers... If we return, we'll definitely stay there again.

Great location to Yosemite only 40 minutes drive to South Gate. The suite was clean, comfortable had everything we needed. We had a very warm welcome and loved the cats and dogs. Such a quiet and peaceful location. We would definitely return and recommend to family and friends.

We liked everything. The room is beautifully and well equipped, the patio has such a nice view and is comfortable. Finally, the advices for visiting Yosemete are brilliant and accurate.

Beautifully located south of Oakhurst with a grandiose view to the West. Sitting on the porch swing and watching the sunsets was one of the little highlights of your vacation. Absolutely beautiful and peaceful location. The hosts and their parents were incredibly kind, open and helpful. We even got fresh vegetables for free from their garden - which we unfortunately could not all use up. The kiddos fell in love with the cats.

We had a wonderful stay at Yosemite Foothill Retreat. Sandy and Quentin was the perfect hosts and exceeded our expectations in every way. They take real pride in welcoming you as a house guest rather than a customer giving the property a sense of a home away from home. Only a 30 min drive to Yosemite south entrance this property is giving a feeling of comfort, warmth, relaxation and is kept at an impeccable standard. The suites are classicaly decorated, clean and are a size ideally suited for a family. The hosts bends over backwards to serve and please you which is so rare to find these days. We would absolutely visit again for it would feel like seeing family.

This place is amazing! Perfect position to visit Yosemite and to relax with a magic view! Don’t miss the sunset. There’s also the fire and we’ve spent the night having smores together! The landlords are very friendly and kind! They also lent us some butter! You can find there everything you need and more! We didn’t want to leave it, we hope to go back soon!

The hosts were amazing! Quinten met us just after we checked in and gave us some great recommendations for trails in Yosemite. We were also lucky enough to sample some of Sandy’s homemade peach wine, which hit the spot! Rooms have everything you need and we had a very comfortable stay. The best thing about this guest suite is the terrace where we watched the sunset every night and took full use of the bbq.

We absolutely loved staying in this beautiful suite! Sandy and Quinten are very welcoming hosts and have put a lot of effort into making the stay as comfortable as possible for their guests. The suite has everything you need, most importantly a very comfortable bed and soft bedding. The outdoor area is also very nice, we enjoyed the sunset every evening!

The hosts, Quentin and Sandy take “super host” to a new high! They were amazing, we were lent binoculars, cool box, had fruit and veg from their cottage garden and sampled Sandy’s fabulous wine! The setting above the hills provided an amazing vista and fabulous sunset to boot! The suite is very well appointed with everything that we needed to enjoy a great break with them. We bbq’d steak one night and ate on the large terrace. Just fantastic, it’s 30 miles from Yosemite National Park, but the drive was part of our enjoyment. No hesitation we hope to return again.
