The villa is situated in a stunning location, right on the banks/beach of a tidal river mouth. The villa has a very large garden with tables and chairs and sun loungers. We were in a small first floor apartment which had everything we needed. Frances, our host, was incredibly helpful and assisted us when we needed a doctor urgently before moving on to another location. Some excellent muesli was provided plus a welcoming sherry. The apartment is tiny but more than adequate fir a stay of a few nights. The large bed was exceedingly comfortable! Linen and towels were of good quality.

“Exceptional accommodation.”
Perfect location, very quiet and away from it all. The studio was well equipped and had a small view of the sea. Plenty of parking. Anna, the owner was most charming and helpful. The gardens are great, laid mainly to lawn but with various trees and shrubs. There is a swinging bench , a hammock and various sun loungers for the use of guests. There are great beaches close by and good walks. There is an hotel and bar just 3 minutes away. The food at the hotel is excellent especially the fish.

“A wonderful stay in a comfortable apartment, lovely hosts Anna and Fred and stunning scenery.”
We loved our stay in an upstairs apartment overlooking the garden. It was quiet and comfortable (lovely bed) with everything we needed to make breakfast and a few meals in the corner kitchenette. The ever-changing view of the estuary on leaving the house was stunning, and we were able to walk to wonderful beaches at low tide. Other walks from the door took us up the river and along the coastal path. Anna was really friendly and helpful both before we arrived and during our stay. The immediate area was very tranquil but had a restaurant and a bar close by, both with wonderful sea views.
