Excellent location set in the centre of Clervaux. Just a short walk to historical monuments, cafes and. Nice indoor pool and sauna perfect for relaxing at the end of the day.

Great location, right in front of the chateaux. Staff friendly. Nice small bar on ground floor. Large room with a comfortable bed. Bathroom worked well - decor a little dated. Nice breakfast - continental, no hot food.

“Poor first impression by being given an unacceptable room - 229.”

We liked room 115 after I complained about room 229, which we were initially allocated. Room 229 was totally unacceptable in that the two chairs were in appalling condition with their outer material peeling off the arms. The carpet was also appalling - basically worn out and with multiple stains which looked awful. Why allocate us this room, when it turned out that room 115 in the same price bracket was already available and was completely acceptable. A poor first impression.The front desk receptionist, Maja, was at least very helpful in getting us the change of rooms. Breakfasts were fine with a good tasty selection.

Clean room and OK stuff, location is OK

The swimming pool, whilst small, was perfect for a refreshing dip. I was very lucky to have it all to myself at 8am. The sun terrace would have been lovely but it was so hot on the day I visited, I could only take about 10 minutes out there. The bar was good for a quick drink before going out for dinner and for a night cap Location, not difficult in such a small place, but ideal at the foot of the castle and 2 mins walk from a selection of good bars and restaurants.
