Very quiet, lovely starry nights, easy access to rock art. Great restaurant and bar. Friendly helpful staff. Plenty of choice with food and drink. Nice little pool.

Traveler’s Rest, ClanwilliamIs the starting Point of Sevilla Rock Art Trail for discovering Bushman’s paintings in Cederberg Mountains. Going 5-10 min by car up to the Parkhuis Pass, a wide valley surrounded by rocks and crags, with dence uliginous plants, is a hit for all those loving Cederberg Mountains. The apartment Klipkop is simply furnished, has a rustical kitchen and a straightforward bathroom, enough for Backpackers and short resting. Ohne must emphasize the Bungalow was clean and there was hot water all day and night. Located up in a field of rocks, distant to the street, sunrises and sundowns stain the landscape in beautiful colors.

“Stunning destination!”
Traveller's Rest is not just a place to stop over...it is a destination. Everything about this weekend was amazing...from the accomodation in a beautiful chalet in the Kloof with stunning views to the food and service from Charity and her team. We will definately be back!.

“We enjoyed immensely and hope to return.”
The accommodation is basic but has everything required for self catering and braai. The location is beautiful and star gazing supreme. The restaurant, within walking distance, has delicious food and there is a store as well which sells local meat. There is a pool to jump in as well as the river alongside. There is also an easy 5km hike to see cave painting if that is your thing!

“Superb location with wonderful staff”
The setting is wonderful as the bungalows are spread over 3 km so there is a feeling of space and privacy . The swimming hole was a bonus as were the animal sightings. The staff were lovely and Charity was so knowlegable

Fantastic location, with beautiful views and no traffic noise. The,old world charm was a draw card and the cottage met all of our basic needs...
