We were more than satisfied with our stay. The room was clean, spacious, and the whole accommodation had a very pleasant with thoughtfully chosen historical atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent. I appreciated that there was a varied selection every day, yet without unnecessary waste. We especially enjoyed the local ham and cheese that were offered, as well as the great coffee. The absolute highlight of our stay was the kindness of the owners. They were truly warm and friendly. The daughter of the owners have us a tour of their vineyard and a wine tasting of their own production, which was a truly special experience. We greatly appreciated the time and energy she devoted to us, and we learned a lot of fascinating information about the unique wines grown in the region. As a souvenir, we even brought a bottle home. We can wholeheartedly recommend this place!

A wonderful and very kind family with accommodation in a stunning location, which was absolutely perfect for us as a base for our trips. The rooms are practically furnished, air-conditioned and the kitchen is very well equipped. And - most important - those landscape views are truly worth it! Plus, their wine is excellent. We had an incredible stay. Marianna was so kind and went above and beyond to help us, including giving excellent recommendations of things to do nearby. The breakfast every morning was different and delicious and situated in the most tranquil location. The views were stunning both from our bedroom and from a lovely shady deck chair spot we spent a few hours. The whole stay was so pleasant and we couldn’t recommend it more!! The proximity to cividale was very convenient as we had a car and all the surrounding countryside was exquisite. We also think the pricing was very reasonable. We will definitely stay again if we are ever back in the area.

The stay in the Casali del Picchio - Winery was amazing. The host family is very nice and helpful. We had a wine tasting in the day of our arriva, very informal and friendly. The breakfast was excellent with a great view of the vineyards. The owners are delightful giving us their full attention and, as I am a wine lover,I had a wonderful wine tasting given by Federico (sun of the family who takes care of the winemaking). He gave a very thoroughly explanation of each wine produced by their vinícola using both autochthonous and other 'International' grapes. The wines are very good and some excellent ones, like the one with the difficult to produce pignolo grape!
