Overview
Set in Cioccaro Di Penango, Relais Sant'Uffizio Wellness & Spa is in the Monferrato area renowned for its cuisine and fine wines. A former monastery, it offers a 500-m² wellness centre, free parking and free Wi-Fi throughout. The Sant'Uffizio is an impressive red-brick 17th-century building surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens that include a small chapel. The outdoor swimming pool has a sun terrace equipped with sun beds and parasols. Its Aquanatura Spa is divided into different sections including the hydro pool zone, wet area, and massage and beauty area. You can treat yourself to a sauna or steam room and relax at the herbal tea and fresh fruit bar. Breakfast at Relais Sant'Uffizio Wellness & Spa is served on the terrace with views of the surrounding green landscape. The restaurant is open for dinner and offers regional specialities in a dining room with original frescoes. Light dishes are available for lunch. Rooms are air conditioned and feature rustic terracotta tiles and a private bathroom with bath or shower. Asti Train Station is 20 km away.

“Nice hotel, good value for money”
Overall, the hotel is very beautiful, giving the traditional Italian cozy vibes. The garden is very nice as well. The breakfast was outstanding with a lot of selection of savory options like cheese, salmon, eggs and others, with fresh juices and sparkling wine included. The staff was overall friendly and helpful. The suite room was very nice. The hotel gives an impression of rather 4+ or even 5 star property with a good value for money given the high season in Piemonte. There is also a big parking just in front of the property.

Beautiful location with welcoming friendly staff. Gorgeous garden with pool one could sit around although not open yet as not in season. The staff gave us an excellent recommendation for a restaurant nearby - really delicious.
