Overview
Set on the Basque Coast, this hotel is set just off the beach. It provides individually decorated rooms, some of them with a balcony overlooking the Bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz. The soundproofed rooms at the Hotel La Caravelle feature wooden floors and satellite TV. Each private bathroom has a hairdryer. La Caravelle serves a full buffet breakfast every morning. It can be enjoyed in the guest rooms, or in the dining room overlooking the Bay. The closest restaurants are just 300 metres away. There is free Wi-Fi access in the hotel and daily newspapers are provided. Guests can also enjoy the infrared sauna during the day, upon prior reservation. La Caravelle is just one km from the Fort Socoa, where many water sports are available. “Wonderful sea view.”
Lovely room with a beautiful view of the sea. Excellent shower, comfortable bed and good bed linen. Great to have the garage space. Very pleasant owners. Easy walk into St Jean de Luz.

Great position right by a little beach and looking out at the bay. Charming and very friendly staff with lots of advice about restaurants and markets. And very important for us secure bike storage inside the property.

“Great place to stay if in St Jean de Luz/Ciboure”
It is in a great location on the coast. We had a great view from our room and on arrival spent time on the little beach opposite. We really liked Ciboure, in fact we preferred it to St Jean de Luz and had a wonderful meal there on our last night. The staff were very friendly and we had a good breakfast each morning.

“A very pleasant and relaxing weekend in this charming hotel.”
The owners were charming and helpful. The room was comfortable and tastefully decorated. The breakfasts were lovely with lots to choose from, and taken in the bright dining room with a view of the sea. Easy to walk into the town with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

“Amazing hotel that feel like home”
We stayed at this hotel last summer, and when we were choosing where to stay this summer, we didn't think twice. You cannot dream of a better host. Everything from the moment we entered the hotel until the check-out hour was amazing. As a memento of our stay at the hotel, we were given two adorable handmade key rings in the form of small pillows.

“Great and cozy”
Cute, next to san jean de luz but more quite. Views to the beach, nice and easy going staff. We arrived later than expected and there was no problem. Nice room, spacious.
