After a week and a bit of travelling around Thailand, arriving at Villa Obsidian in Koh Samui felt like stepping into pure calm. From the moment we walked in, everything about the place just exuded luxury; the design, the views, and the overall atmosphere made it incredibly hard to leave. It was the perfect spot to unwind and properly switch off. Days were spent soaking up the peaceful surroundings, and with Choeng Mon Beach just a 5–10 minute walk away, it struck a great balance between privacy and easy access to the sea. What really stood out was how breathtaking the villa itself is easily the nicest place I’ve ever stayed. Every detail felt thoughtfully done, making it feel both indulgent and comfortable at the same time. The only thing worth mentioning for future guests is that the villa is set on a fairly steep hill, which could be a consideration for anyone with limited mobility. That said, it didn’t take away from the experience at all, just something to be aware of. Overall, an unforgettable stay. If you’re looking for somewhere to relax in style in Koh Samui, this place is truly special.

“Absolutely brilliant”

The property is in a fantastic location with a beautiful view. Chong Mon is a very easy spot and its an easy 4 min walk to the beach. The pool is excpetional. Housekeeper is lovely and so efficient. AC is fantastic. I really loved the glazed walls, even though its alot of glass you feel private from the rest of the area.

Luxurious marble tiles, Sumptuous tropical garden, High ceilings and Panoramic windows, Complete privacy, Attentive Staff with excellent in-house Chef we employed a few times. I've stayed in several 5-star villas around Koh Samui but this wins hands down for Quality, Location, and Services.

Exceptional location with magnificent views and facilities. The house is cleaned every day and the host was very attentive to our needs. I would definitely book this house again when I return to Koh Samui.

Vila is is a great location with really nice views. It is well laid out and modern. The pool was a great place to hang out during the hot day. Beds were really comfortable. Excellent communication from the the host. Nice walk to beach (ten minutes) with some excellent places to eat.

Everyting was perfect - great, kind, professional staff making sure your stay is enjoyable, super comfy bed, big private pool and a walking distance to local restaurants (which you don't usually get in a private villa like this). Not a long drive to night markets or other popular areas either. We also tried the private chef -service which was amazing, the food was so delicious. Not to mention watching the sunrise every morning from your bed. Would recommend to anyone wanting a private, easy, hassle-free and relaxing holiday! Thank you for making our stay perfect :) <3

“Perfect place for holidays in Koh Samui”

We stayed at villa Obsidian 7 days in April. we are traveling a lot in Thailand and this villa was on of the best one we stayed. It’s even better then on photos. New, big, got everything you need, amazing view, very nice swimming pool. Big plus that got filtered water so you don’t have to worry about buying and bringing water , and we drink lots of water. Fully furnished kitchen, washing machine. very nice inside, big windows, incredible view and lots of light. Just 5 min walk to the beach. The beach is very nice and quiet but got everything you needed, massage, water activities, and lots of cafes and restaurants from local Thai food to fine dining at 5 stars hotel. 10 min walk to 7/11 and family mart where you can get everything you need. Car and bike rent just around the corner and money exchange. cleaning service everyday if you need. Very comfortable beds , and very quiet. very easy to order taxi and food using Grab app, 15 min drive to Fisherman’s village where you can find lots of very good restaurants, shops and fire show ( best one we saw). And big thank you to the owner of this villa and manager and staff to make our stay very comfortable .
