Everything was amazing: staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to help with everything, safari was well organized and staff very knowledgeable. Accommodation itself was very luxurious and tranquil, perfect place to relax and enjoy nature!

Stunning property, immaculately kept. Staff are professional and friendly. Pool is very nice, temperature was perfect. The jeep safari was awesome, very comfortable and got to see lots of wildlife. All of the food was delicious, best veg momos we have had.

Our stay at Sanctuary Chitwan National Park was exceptional in every aspect! The level of attention to detail is remarkable and clearly reflects the personal involvement of Mr. Rana, the manager, whose presence and dedication elevate the entire experience. The team operates at the highest level — professional, discreet, and genuinely attentive throughout. The safari experience was superb — expertly organized, immersive, and unforgettable. The facilities are top-tier, combining elegance, comfort, and a strong sense of place. The property is also a true paradise for birdwatchers — during our stay, we spotted more than 100 species, both within the national park and in the surrounding areas of the sanctuary. The restaurant is equally impressive, offering a refined variety of fresh, high-quality dishes with both local and international influences. One of the evenings featured a traditional dance performance by members of the local indigenous community, which was both authentic and engaging. After the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu, the property feels like a genuine oasis of tranquility — peaceful, beautifully maintained, and deeply relaxing. Our only regret is having stayed just two nights. We very much look forward to returning — next time for a longer stay. If you are considering options in the area, this is a property you can choose with complete confidence.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We got upgraded to a villa for free and it was really really beautiful. We did a jeep safari and our guide was very experienced and knowledgeable. They offer free cookies that taste amazing and we were obsessed with the smell of the mini shampoo they offered. It is a bit more pricey but for us, also given the free upgrade to the villa, definitely worth it.

Fabulous location, beautifully laid out, staff were amazing. Their naturalist who took us on our safaris was a fountain of knowledge and a great guide.

The resort is beautiful, the gardens are well-maintained, the rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, and all the staff members are lovely, from the first to the last. Except for the manager, Ajid. It's a shame that, being such a high-quality hotel, we had such an unpleasant experience that left a bad taste in our mouths.

“A peaceful retreat.”

A truly peaceful stay right on the edge of the jungle, with exceptionally stylish and beautifully designed rooms. I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a stunning suite overlooking the forest — waking up to that view from my bed felt surreal. The staff were nothing short of exceptional. Ajit the manager, safari guides Tulsi and Ashok, and the restaurant team all went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and memorable. The safari experience was magical. I saw 15 rhinos, including three mothers with calves. I followed Tulsi’s recommendation to visit the community forest instead of the main park and I’m so glad I did, as other groups returned disappointed. Tulsi, Ashok, and our driver John were determined to help me spot a tiger, visiting multiple locations and waiting patiently. While we didn’t get lucky this time, seeing so many rhinos more than made up for it. Thank you for a wonderful stay at Sanctuary Chitwan.

Everything. The location, the setting, the cleanliness, the facilities, amazing room with plenty of space, the best infinity pool, the fact that is so close to the entrance ce of the park… but above all the great staff. Our special thank you to our personal guide, Tulsi, who accompanied us for nearly three days on our expeditions and walked through the villages to see the local culture. We had the most amazing time here.

“Fantastic hotel, wonderful staff and a great location”

We had an amazing stay in this beautiful hotel. The location was amazing on the edge of the jungle and near the river. Our room was large and comfortable, the food was really great, there’s a lovely pool area and the best thing was the manager and the staff who all went the extra mile to make sure we had a great time. We really enjoyed the jeep safari and best of all was the jungle walk with Mr Tulsi who taught us all about the medicinal plants in the jungle, really fascinating. We enjoyed our stay here so much and would highly recommend this hotel.

A phenomenal experience with the most beautiful staff. We couldn’t recommend the Sanctuary more highly - stay, you won’t regret it. The jungle is right on your doorstep, a bike ride around the local villages is also benefitted by the wealth of knowledge provided by the staff, and the safari is a bucket list item. Endless smiles and lots of memories.
