Lovely setting overlooking Chisang, rice fields and mountains. Unfortunately it was a bit overcast. Unique and cute. Friendly and helpful hosts. Very clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast.

“Great place to relax and use as a base for exploring the area.”
The family who run YuChanYuan are delightful, helpful, conscientious folks. The views from their property are stunning, perched on the side of a mountain above the pond that gives Chishang its name. There’s a lovely communal covered outdoor space, which must be a great thing when it rains.

“Great serene accommodation for exploring Chishang”
The most beautiful location on a mountain overlooking the rice fields. Nice room. The staff is really nice and helpful. The breakfast was delicious! We even saw muntjac (small deer) walking around at the accommodation :) Because it’s a bit outside of Chishang it’s nice if you have your own car/bike. Bicycle rental is close by.

The B&B is located on a hill with a nice view and lots of space. Especially awesome for summer days outside. The host ist very welcoming and Friendly. The breakfast was fresh and with many options.

“A very quiet place indeed, for the experience of village life. Careful not to speak too loudly.”
Mr Lai was friendly and warm. He was there when we arrived at this secluded place. The breakfast was simple but good, cooked personally by Lai's parents. They were also very friendly and hospitable.

What an amazing property this B&B is located on! Apparently the owner owns the entire mountain and there are many walking paths around the property with spectacular views of Chi Shang. The owner is extremely hospitable to people and dogs. It definitely earns its excellent reputation.
