“Wonderful quirky spot to stay”

Really unique and quirky design. Great location near to lots of bike rental shops and the start of Mr Browns avenue. A bit far from restaurants but we had a car so that was not an issue.

“A Peaceful Guesthouse with Views of Mr. Brown Avenue”

The exterior of the guesthouse is beautiful, with a Southern French countryside vibe. It’s a small place, thoughtfully designed, with a strong connection to the outdoors. The viewing terrace on the second floor is especially relaxing, offering a view of Mr. Brown Avenue. At night, when all the lights are turned on, sitting outside and chatting together as a family feels particularly nice and warm~ The room on the third floor is very simple and easy to take in at a glance, resembling a tatami-style room or a small loft. There is a small spiral staircase leading up to the third floor, so this room is not recommended for guests with large luggage. Stepping outside from the third-floor room, sitting on the spiral wooden staircase is also a great spot—perfect for one person or a couple to chat or zone out together while looking toward the distant Central Mountain Range ⛰️ One detail that’s especially worth mentioning: there’s a pull-out clothesline installed on the wooden wall, which you can extend to dry clothes! Extremely thoughtful 😍 This is a wonderful place for running, reading, or enjoying tea. The guesthouse offers self check-in, so you won’t feel disturbed at all. Communication is convenient as well—they respond very quickly through internet calls. At night, pet dogs may come upstairs during their rounds. I personally don’t like dogs, but I love cats. There are also very subtle sounds coming from the wooden structure 🤣～🌿 which, according to them, are unavoidable wood-boring insects common in wooden houses. Btw, the owner has a kitten that is incredibly cute. It’s not afraid of people at all and will even approach guests on its own～😍😍 super cute 💞💞

房子一切都很特别，老板娘人也很热情。一切都太好了！

Noisy roof during winds, room is very small, you can sleep there but even as a couple keeping most of our baggages in the car we felt the room was too small for us. shower has no cabin, so you end up with water all around the bathroom, leaking sink in the bathroom. I think it’s passable but the noise during the night was too much for us, we didn’t get proper rest.

Great location and unique place

“Peaceful stay overlooking the rice fields.”

Full of personality, situated out of main township with a terrace overlooking the rice fields and surrounding hills. Coffee shop and many bike rental shops nearby. And very close to the cycling paths. Sara is very friendly and helpful and makes good use of Google translate to communicate with non-Chinese speakers like me. She encouraged me to contact her during my stay through whatsapp, with any questions and she had helpful recommendations for places to eat, etc. One of the bike rental places nearby offered overnight rental and I was able to return bike to the train station.

The host - very friendly, helpful.; the location. Beautiful view of the mountains in the distance and rice fields. Very nice ride back from town. Thought the bike trail was very dark and deserted at night, I felt very safe riding my bike back from town after dinner. It was magical.

Super nice people, super clean and everything easy. The tea and coffee machine in the reception area s a great bonus.

The accommodation was homely and near to the brown avenue. We enjoyed the stay and there is hot air from aircon in room keeping us warm.

Quaint little place with about 5 rooms. Fuss-free self-checkin at the counter when we reached. Love the architecture and overall feel. Many cool tiny details down to the key. The bedding was super comfortable! We had 3 rooms. The bathrooms can be small for some rooms but very functional. We were allowed to eat our packed dinner at the cool library area (tables were old school desks, so cool!).

For a start, this is not a B&B as there is no breakfast served. In fact, they even want you to pay for coffee (not fancy lattes either, just the normal stuff). While we enjoyed our quirky, spacious family room, overall at the price and given the marketing photos, I was underwhelmed. Looks like its set in a green field but actually is along a main road. Service was average (upon making an enquiry I was basically told to Google it myself). Were I returning to the area I’d book HowHas instead, which I ran past hence can confirm really is in a field.

We originally booked a double room and was upgraded for free to the family room which was much bigger! The overall aesthetic is so cute! We arrived late, and was able to do self check-in. Super cute cat. The location is perfect, so serene and quiet, with the view of the rice paddies and mountains right there. Free parking as well! Highly recommend and worth the price!
