“Good solid eccentricity with a great host....!”
Excellent host ( Denis) offering excellent accommodation with an air of eccentricity.......for those that appreciate and value this kind of accommodation then it is really excellent.......for context we were driving north from Spain towards Calais and used the accommodation for an overnight stop...it did all that we ask plus the delightful village has a lovely castle to view too....!

“Uncomfortable”
Outside stairs with rusty rickety rail covered in rose bush with thorns making it difficult to climb up rooms very uneven floors making trip hazard and bedroom was stuffy with no window and floor was sloping! Hosts were pleasant but will not come back!

Quirky. Denis was a lovely, considerate host. Our dogs were welcome by their dogs and cat who are lovely. Highly recommended for people who like people and staying somewhere a bit different.

Breakfast was very good, its a lovely, quirky property and we felt very welcome here. Situated by a river with access to the stream at the bottom of the garden. Nice quiet location too. We particularly liked all the unusual artwork too
