It had an historical background which the owners were pleased to tell us about. It had character at every turn. Beautifully and tastefully decorated which was in keeping with a building of its era. The outside was an abundance of flowers with our own garden and a comfortable seating area.

We absolutely loved our stay in Chinon. Everything was exceptional. The interior design was beautifully done — elegant, thoughtful, and full of charm. The quiet French garden was a true highlight: peaceful, relaxing, and the perfect place to unwind. The hospitality of the hosts made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Every detail was carefully considered, and the facilities were excellent. It was more than just a stay — it was a feast for the eyes, the body, and the mind. A truly beautiful and memorable experience.

Breakfast was excellent with locally sourced produce including fresh fruit, yoghurt, preserves, bread and pastries. Rebecca and Bryce were very welcoming, helpful and attentive allowing us to have a wonderfully relaxing holiday in their lovely home. They are great company and we hope to return.

My partner and I stayed at Les Destinees for 2 nights during our visit to Chinon. Bryce and Rebecca were the most fantastic hosts - we received a very warm welcome when we arrived, they were on hand for tips about the town, and cared about making our stay comfortable and easy. We really loved the room we stayed in - it's spacious and has a private feel to it. The house and garden were also beautiful, and conveniently right near the fortress. The breakfast was delicious - we enjoyed a range of locally sourced produce; cheeses, bread, cured meats, pastries, granola, museli, yoghurt were all offered! Thank you for our relaxing stay in Chinon :)

Location fantastic, Florint was super helpful and breakfast featuring local products delicious!!! The room we had a small door accessing the beautiful gardens.

This property was beautiful, and our room was spacious and comfortable. It was so quiet and peaceful, we didn’t realize there were other people staying there. Florent, our host was perfect every step of the way. The breakfast was amazing all freshly made their whore locally sourced.

“Stay here, it's superb.”

We liked everything. Beautifully furnished historical house. We had deluxe room and it had lots of space and views across rooftops. Lovely garden where you can see the castle, especially nice when lit up at night. Breakfasts were superb. Homemade yoghurt and apple crumble, bread and pastries. You will not go hungry! Local jams which are delicious. Our host could not be more helpful and carried our bags upstairs for us. Would definitely stay here again.
