“Nice comfortable house on the edge of beautiful Chinon”

A renovated arn (grange) turned into a comfortable and nice vacation house. It is a lovely house with comfortable furniture and a good kitchen. The bathroom is also very good. It is at the edge of Chinon. We mostly drove (5 minutes) to the centre. You can park for free on the Jeanne d’arc square. It was a good base for exploring the environment, besides Chinon. The grapes are in front of the house. Younalso have two terraces. Luxury! You live with the owners in the same gardem, but they were on holiday. So we haven’t met them. But contact and check-in went very well.

“Perfect quiet location”

A beautiful building in a quiet location. A 15 minute walk into Chinon and easy access by car to the wineries (there’s also a couple of wineries within walking distance). The house has parking, a very spacious living/dining/kitchen area and a terrific bathroom with underfloor heating and plenty of hot water. It was the best of both worlds - the busy, want town of Chinon during the day and quiet, cozy nights away from the noise. Chinon has great shopping, restaurants and don’t miss the Castle. It can be accessed via a lift from the town centre if you don’t feel like the steep climb. We had a lovely stay and the hosts were very polite and hospitable.

La Grange de l'Olive is a perfect gite to explore Chinon and the surrounding area. It is clean, spacious, comfortable and very well decorated. The host was welcoming and helpful. The gite is about a 20 minute walk from Chinon centre.

Our hosts were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The property is spacious and in superb condition with all the facilities you need and more. It is just over 1km into the centre of Chinon.. It's an easy walk and preferable to taking the car into town. Perfect for a short stay in the Loire.
