We experienced a very large comfortable room for our four nights. Excellent modern bathroom and facilities. Loved the courtyard which created its own atmosphere.

The hotel is really great and stylishly designed, the breakfast exceptional.

“Fantastic stay in Chinon”

Super friendly and professional staff who gave us a warm welcome and provided us with great advice on visiting the town. Their sister restaurant, Fauve, was one of the highlights of those recommendations. Super comfortable, clean and well-designed rooms and common spaces. A big plus for cyclists doing La Loire à Vélo: a secure bike storage.

Location, ambience and staff. The outside area and glazed lounge provide a relaxing environment away from Chinon centre ville.we particularly appreciated the ham and cheese platter that was available in the evenings.

The staff were welcoming, polite and obliging. I tried my mediocre French, but they spoke English very proficiently, which helped after my long journey from the South. The hotel is well situated at only five minutes from the town centre. All the facilities were first class.

Beautiful hotel, quiet and so comfortable. The staff were happy to accommodate our early arrival which was great. The breakfast buffet is extensive and the location directly across from the medieval town and chateau was perfect. The Lebanese restaurant just around the corner dies excellent food as well.

Hotel Rive Sud lived up to and exceeded our expectations. Our room was lovely and all the fittings etc were excellent. The staff were delightful and couldn’t do enough to help make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was superb with plenty of choice. We would not hesitate to recommend the hotel and look forward to visiting again in the near future.
