Exceptional welcome, we arrived by motorbike and a member of staff came out to us with a block to park on. Stunning gardens and a charming room. The breakfast was nice and very generous. Drinks in the garden terrace was lovely and then only a short walk into beautiful Chinon. Fantastic easy to find location.

The room was delightful, and so French. I loved the whole environment. the garden. small areas. Breakfast was super. I enjoyed sharing a larger table. Super homemade jams. They contacted me as I left my glasses behind. So thoughtful.

A very charming hotel in a fantastic location in Chinon. The gentleman who greeted us when we arrived was friendly and hospitable. The refreshments on the lovely terrace was a great start to our stay. The lady who also greeted us at check in and later during the evening when we had more refreshments on the terrace was exceptionally pleasant and charming, a great asset to such a lovely hotel. I look forward to returning soon.

From the greeting at reception through service on the terrace to the attentive care at breakfast, the staff were exceptional. The hitel itself is a piece of living hustory and its position near the centre of the town is ideal.

Really nice building and facilities. Superb location as no more than 10mins walk to a selection of eateries and shops. Very friendly helpful staff. We booked last minute and although our room was a little dated it was exceptionally clean and bright and comfortable. Very good selection for breakfast also including a great selection of homemade jams.
