“Secluded, quiet despite being in the centre of the town”
The terrace with the barbecue was a lovely space. The owners very kindly went & bought some more fans because of the heatwave, which were very much appreciated

“A great place to base yourself in Chinon”
Really well appointed Gîte with a beautiful terrace. Great communication with hostess.. Very quiet apart from the lovely noise of children playing in the school next door and the birdsong!

“A lovely short stay in Chinon.”
The property was very centrally located with a great view of the statue on top of the hill, just a few minutes walk into town with cafes and restaurants, supermarket etc. The property owner was very helpful with recommendations of places to go and things to do and answered messages promptly.

“Chinon is a beautiful town and the Gite matched it perfectly.”
The property is spacious, reasonably well appointed and well laid out. Most of the usual facilities were available, both inside and outside the apartment. it was very quite and peaceful and we loved it!

Loved the gorgeous terrace where we sat out and ate most nights.Well equipped kitchen and good facilities. Quite roomy. We appreciated having the use of a fan to cool the apartment in the evenings. Good shutters to help keep the apartment cool during the day. Excellent free parking very close by. Fantastic location. Great host with excellent communication.

We loved the location, only a short walk through beautiful streets into what was a lovely & typically French town. The apartment was clean & comfortable, the terrace had great views making it a really nice area to sit & relax. We loved it.
