“Absolutely fine for us.”
The property was within walking distance of the town, even though the host said it wasn't. The stairs were a bit tricky to negotiate and care was needed, fine if you have no mobility problems at all. Steps up to the lodge anyway. Nice little courtyard and all very private. Parking was safe.

Friendly and helpful welcome from Josianne.Peaceful setting with pretty outdoor space which was private and ideal for dining. Rustic charm in a semi rural location. Stylishly furnished. Nice to have the whole of this cute gite to ourselves. Loved the dual aspect little windows to the main attic bedroom. Useful parking space and we were allowed to store our bikes in the lockable garage. Gite located close to cycle path. Josianne gave us good directions to get straight onto it from the footpath next to the gite.

“Charming little property with everything you need for a pleasant stay”
The lady who met us was very charming and helpful. The accommodation was excellent with everything we needed and very clean. We felt very much at home. It was nice to sit in the little area outside which was quiet and peaceful. We could walk to the supermarket nearby and it was a 30min walk in to Chinon. There was also a nice off road walk at the back of the property. You could park directly outside but this meant driving through a very narrow entrance. There was adequate parking a little further away.

Great location near beautiful Chinon and welcoming neighbours, thank you for the peaches! We enjoyed the outdoor area, spacious bathroom, and the character of the house. Very useful to have free parking outside. Thanks for letting us leave a little later, much appreciated.

“Charming little gite close to Chinon and Chateaux of the Loire.”
Close to Chinon and various other Chateaux. Clean and well presented and a warm welcome from the owner who kept in contact during our journey and the lady who met us on arrival. Convenient parking outside the property. Air conditioning unit in the first bedroom and fans in both bedrooms were very much appreciated.

“The gite overall was comfortable and ideally placed to enjoy Chinon to the full.”
The gite was dog-friendly, easily accessible free and secure parking outside the gite, warm welcome by an appointed neighbour, exceptionally comfortable bed, only a mile into Chinon so very useful eg for restaurants, third of a mile to the nearest quite large and well-stocked Super U.
