Overview
A 15-minute drive from Pilatus Ski Resort, chalet-like Nomanomori offers quaint Western rooms. It features a garden with a terrace, free Wi-Fi and a cosy lounge with a fireplace. Breakfast features home-made breads. Guests at the charming Nomanomori can go hiking, skiing or golfing in the area. The lodge offers ski storage facilities and free parking. Nomanomori is centrally located in the Tateshina area, which is popular as a summer retreat as well as for skiing. It’s a 15-minute drive from Mount Yatsugatake, and a 30-minute drive from both JR Chino Train Station and the Suwa exit of the Chuo Expressway. Tokyo is a 4-hour highway-bus ride. Featuring nature views, some paintings and dim lighting, rooms come with an LCD TV, a radio and toiletries. All rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, bathtub and toilet. Complimentary green tea and bottled water are provided.

The place is very clean, very cozy, very special. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. Speaks English fluently. The place is right in the forest, a little far from the city of Chino. There are many cafes and special places around

Sen embodies warmth, kindness, and an exceptional welcoming spirit, while Taka has a calm strength and genuine caring presence that made us feel so at home. They took such good care of us, and our conversations were light-hearted, joyful, and truly memorable. They take into account what you like and dislike and change the breakfast accordingly. The hosts couldn't be more friendly and helpful during our stay!

“Nice place but needs to be properly heated.”
It was clean and had a good location. The couple who run it were very nice and offered to drive us to our restaurant using I could drink alcohol.

Delightful cosy b&b with the most friendly, helpful and generous owners. Rooms are not huge but ample for a couple with lovely outlook over the garden. Breakfast is home cooked and delicious, served in a nice dining room with open fireplace nearby. The owners generously offered to serve us a home cooked meal for dinner one evening as we were having difficulty finding an open restaurant. It was delicious. Private bathrooms are small but adequate however they have a great large indoor bath/spa for guests which was so relaxing. Plenty of lovely places to visit, drives, local onsen etc and the owners have lots of local knowledge and information. Really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

“B&B with great personal touch”
Nice comfy rustic place. Very friendly owners. Extremely flexible in making my stay comfortable eg making dinner when there is no dinner offered as part of the stay, as I was too tired to go out.
