Overview
Located in the natural surroundings of south-Hainaut,Villa Adélaïde offers rooms with free WiFi, a hot tub and private bathroom. Chimay centre is 300 metres away. “If you’re looking for a window into the past but with modern facilities, then highly recommended”
A property with character and history. Every so often you end up staying somewhere like this, that will leave a lasting impression. Perfect? Absolutely not, but so full of character that perfection is irrelevant. The owner is lovely and was accommodating of all the little cha he’s and requests we made and on top of that, provided us with a lovely breakfast.

“Wonderful hotel in a picturesque setting”
Amazing hotel, Françoise was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The hotel is set within lovely grounds, which we were able to enjoy whilst we had our morning breakfast. The room was clean, warm and welcoming with everything we needed. Françoise even went to the extent of giving us restaurant recommendations. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

“Enjoyable and relaxing stay.”
The rooms were large with a big bathroom, well stocked mini bar with wine, beer and soft drinks. Also had tea and coffee making facilities. Good place to park motorcycles round the back. Good location a short walk from the centre of Chimay. Property also has a large garden. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

No clean towels dry blood on my bed sheets no Internet connection covered in bites wud not recommended anyone to stay there seen the lady when we got there had to leave payment in a place payed in full

“Would definitely stay again if we were over-nighting in Chimay”
Francoise, our host, was very accommodating about our need to leave early and produced a decent breakfast in the circumstances. Also the property had an EV charger for our car which was really convenient. This is new and should be mentioned on the website as it was a very pleasant surprise for us. Also the local restaurant (Poul et Boul) recommended by Francoise proved to be just right for our needs.
