The excellent staff, in particular the gentleman who checked us in. He remembered us when we returned 2 days later after a visit to Alishan. The self-service laundry and ice-cream! The location, just a street away from the Alishan railway station. The upgrade to room with super king bed and massage chair.

The hotel is close to the station (at the rear end of it.) A 5 minute walk is all it takes. The front desk is on the second floor but there is an escalator and a lift. Staff was very helpful and kind. Check-in was a breeze. The room is spacious with a modern layout. We had a nice view. Amenities were ample and the bathroom was comfortably. Water bottles are provided on request. But a water can and dispenser are available. Breakfast was copious with a good mix of local dishes and some western choices.

Best hotel I stayed in Taiwan so far. Best value for money. We had the most comfortable sleep here. Hotel is a bit random and out of place as Chiayi is a bit of a rural town. Impossible to walk on roads as there are no pedestrian walkways, we ended up uber eating everyday.

“Good Base for Alishan Trip”

We spent two nights here, with one night in between for a visit to Alishan. Both times we had standard rooms with king-size beds on one of the upper floors, and they were spotlessly clean. The staff at the front desk were professional, extremely friendly, and spoke good English. They allowed us to store our main luggage for the day in between. The hotel is located directly west behind the train station. There are fewer restaurants in this area than on the east side of the tracks. The hotel itself offers a breakfast buffet but no other meals. However, this wasn't a problem, as there's an excellent hot pot restaurant, the Tachikawa Golden Pot, just 50 meters away and across the street. We really enjoyed it, and it was always packed. Very new, modern and clean hotel. Staff speak good English and are very accommodating. Highly recommend.

“A surprisingly enjoyable stay”

Excellent service, friendly staff. Free flow of cookies and coffee. Comfortable and clean beds and baths. Jessica at the front counter impresses with her helpfulness and warmth. We needed to check in an unusual shape piece of luggage, and was able to borrow measuring tape and weighting scale from the counter.

Good buffet breakfast selction which changes everyday so it never felt like you were wating the same food, there was free coffee and mango sorbet ice cream availablex, both delicious. The bar which was open outside the front from a little trailer stall was really cool, just it would be better if there was more of a selection of drinks. There weren’t many options. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were also very clean and presentable.
