“Lovely little place out of the main city, more personal service from staff, can get a peaceful sleep”

Sweet little property with only 4 rooms. The staff were able to be more personal with their services - making breakfast earlier than the usual time to suit going on a tour, giving us more food if we wanted, they also moved us upstairs when they could as we requested an upstairs room

The hotel had great views from the terrace, we caught a couple of great sunsets from there. Breakfast was very good - especially the banana pancakes! Staff were very helpful and arranged bike rental for us.

“great for value, just outside of the city”

very nice, quiet place just outside of the city in a foresty enviroment. You can walk into the city in around half an hour (not the best neighborhood, but nothing problematic) or take a taxi, they are not expensive. If you are going the the white or blue church anyway, you will take a taxi anyway, from any hotel you stay at. Breakfast was also good

The host is very helpful despite the language barrier. Breakfast is delicious. The rooms are nice. Slight 20 minutes walk to the city centre.

Beautiful view, nice a quiet, the building is beautiful and the facilities are great, the room was nice and clean and the aircon worked well. Staff are lovely and they helped me organise a motorbike rental, and they offer a full English breakfast! First one id seen in Thailand ahaha, brilliant stay overall, I suggest it to anyone in chiang rai. It’s out of the centre which I preferred and just very quaint.

Lovely older style house with great views and large communal balcony. Very helpful staff. Location about 15 min walk from clock tower - nice to do

“No place to sleep”

Coffee and fruits for breakfast were good. The operator of the space tried his best.

Had a great stay at Villa Mungkala. Great accommodation in old house. Great breakfast and fruit/coffee also provided throughout day. Nice garden with views over the mountains. Booked a scooter and also slow boat to Luang Prabang through companies advised by the host with no issues. Would recommend

Amazing stay, friendly staff, safe area, would recommend 100%. Its a little hidden gem in the city that will give you silence at night as its far from big roads, and a great view on a lovely terrasse. It exceeded our expectations. Special thanks to Ping :)

“Average stay”

Decent value for money, quiet with only 4 rooms. The location was a little out the city so recommend only staying here if you’re comfortable renting a motorbike. Great views.

Very peaceful and beautiful place to stay, the ambience here is very romantic. Can't think of a better location to watch the sunset in Chiang Rai. The breakfast was also great, the staff even made and packed us breakfast sandwiches for our an early check-out, which was lovely. Would definitely stay here again if in Chiang Rai!
