“Exceptional special Hotel”

Beautiful historical hotel. As a long standing world traveller I rate this in my Top 10.

Amazing hotel, great decor, very large quiet room, friendly helpful staff and ideally located.

Great location in a quiet street. Short walk to Saturday night market. 10min walk to bus station. Hotel is elaborately decorated with lots of gold paint and ornate carved furniture. Huge rooms

This is very much a place that you either like it's style or not. It is not bland. We liked it. And for a stay in Chiang Rai it was in a good position. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

They made us a breakfast to take with us because we had the leave at 5 am and the normal breakfast starts later.

Lovely manager, strangely weird Thai style decor, loved being surrounded by gold in the golden triangle.

Everything, The rooms so big the decor, the beds so comfortable, we really felt like royalty in the beautiful bedrooms. Delicious breakfast. Walking distance to the market, restaurants and 7/11. The staff are so lovely especially the owner who is so helpful. Also so close to everthing but so quiet in a beautiful garden. You will not have any regrets if you book here. Top Class

The front desk woman was friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is very "royal" in decor. The location is perfect and it was my favourite breakfast so far in Thailand.

Actually we liked it a lot. There were few mosquitos in the room but we eliminated them :) breakfast was good and enough. The furniture and equipment is old, walls are shabby. Location is great, 5-8 minutes walking to the center.

“Great budget hotel in central location”

The room was spacious and the location was very central within walking distance to markets and restaurants. The shower was great and it was clean and friendly. We liked the decor too - it made it appear quite grand and we felt it reflected Thailand.

Verry good location, verry good place, verry good beds, big roooms, cleaning every day, verry nice host !

“Unpleasant experience”

From the photos, everything seemed ok. When we arrived, it was stuffy, with mosquitoes, and one of the two beds had the previous guest's linen on it, meaning it was unwashed.

This hotel is something exceptional for an European traveller, even though some facilities may be a little bit out of date, the huge space of the Deluxe room and the style make unforgettable experience.

I love the location of this hotel as I usually travel to Chiang Rai from Chiang Mai by bus at the hotel is a very quick walk away from the bus station. The rooms are super clean and comfortable and have everything you need. Breakfast is provided and is fresh and lovely. All the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. This was my second stay at Nakaraj Princess and it would be highly likely that I would stay here again should I plan a return holiday.
