“Thai Akara is absolutely perfect.”

We were expecting a nice hotel when we booked. What we got was a breathtaking, traditional, home away from home. Our room was huge, clean, beautifully designed room with a balcony, spa and the largest bathroom we’ve seen in a hotel. The staff were next level friendly, always happy and a joy. A special call out to Monika and Plop (I think) who always greeted us with a smile at the delicious breakfast. The location was perfect, within easy reach of all the old town sites with several surrounding restaurants and bars close by. We cannot say enough about this property. This will be our go to when we return to Chiang Mai.

The staff were simply wonderful, courteous and friendly. Thank you Jimmy, Monika, Tobbie especially for the lovely time and hospitality. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The hotel grounds was not big and is really quiet and peaceful!

This hotel is fantastic. Great location. Lovely and welcoming staff. Beautiful pool. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and Monika and all the team were so welcoming each morning. I also enjoyed the little afternoon cooking activities. Would recommend a stay.

This hotel was amazing! Beautiful pool and gardens, right in heart of Chiang Mai. Our room felt very luxurious, such beautiful decor. Staff were really helpful, breakfast was great!

The size of the room was spacious and our room had a pool in close proximity. There was a shuttle to the airport upon departure.

I had an amazing experience at Thai Akara. The location, amenities, and the room were all great. Service was first-class. Special thanks to Rainny and Jimmy who were amazing. For sure we'll return there when we come back again in Thailand.

The place is gorgeous and the staff is amazing. My birthday was on the last day of our stay but we didn’t say anything. I went to have breakfast and the staff came in singing happy birthday carrying a delicious birthday chocolate cake! They also took a picture that they later framed and gifted to me. It was the sweetest surprise. I cannot thank them enough. Would definitely stay here again!
