“Beautiful traditional houses in a quiet, semi-rural area”

The house is part of a group of traditional northern Thai adobe dwellings with a lot of charm. They are set in a garden in a semi-rural area, a bit outside the city walls. The setting is quiet. The city center and restaurants are about 15 minutes away by tuk-tuk or Grab. You can call a Grab near Wat Muang Kai, which is a five-minute walk from the house. The wat is also a good reference point for tuk-tuk drop-off. The owners don't speak much English, but you can easily communicate with them using smartphone translators.

“Peaceful retreat”

Amazing place, surrounded by beautiful nature, where you can take a breakfast looking the squirrels walking along the power lines of the quiet street in front. The 1st room have windows that you can enjoy magnificent plants since sunrise!

Peaceful place, stayed there more than 15 days. Full of nature, quite, and 15 minutes by motorbike from the Ta Pae Gate region. Food very nice cooked by kind auntie and served by smile uncle.

“Living as a thailand person”

Very peaceful place, surrounded by many kinds of plants, where you can live as a native person. Delicious food, cooked with kindness by auntie and very welcome mood of her and uncle! In the breakfast you can see birds and squirrels, natives walking or riding a bike, doing exercises. Make a class with auntie to learn to do a pad Thai or a traditional fan, so nice!!!

Our hosts were always attentive and helpful, but not intrusive. Our Thai breakfasts were delightful with a range of offerings over the week. The room had plenty of space and was comfortable. We would happily return here in future!

Beautiful quiet location, a bit quirky (which we loved), superb breakfast, friendly hosts in a quiet location with lots of little hidden gems nearby (wat, bakery, Gymkana Club for a meal...etc). Also a very short drive or ride from the city.

It was so nicely decorated and very inviting space. Som much greenery. Very friendly people owns it. It was one of the nicest places of our trip.

This place is truly healing. The warmth and kindness of the hosts, the delicious breakfasts that are made with love, the bath tubs and beautifully decorated rooms and the quiet peaceful environment. I came here after I had been unwell on my holiday and felt so looked after by the hosts and was so grateful to be able to stay in a place like this. I can't wait to come back. The hosts went above and beyond for me and were so helpful.

“A proper retreat. Gem for a real taste of Thailand”

A unique chance to experience a retreat in traditional Thai bungalows. Clean and essential. The location is a lovely quiet spot in the nature not too far from busy Chang Mai. Food is amazing! The hosts are lovely and kind. They do not speak a great deal of English but yet you easily manage to understand and communicate.
