When we had came back from dinner the toilet tank was not filling with water. Despite it being late the hotel had maintenance staff available and quickly fixed the issue!

“Run down, charged me extra for my pet without advance notice. Very disappointing.”
The hotel was very run down and old. It was very overpriced. But the thing that I was most upset about was that I did not receive information upon booking or check in about additional costs for having my pet with me. Since it says "pet friendly" hotel I did not expect that. Upon check out they noticed my cat and charged me an extra 200 pesos. The total cost therefore exceeded my budget and was NOT worth it. There are better hotels that are cheaper and accept pets. Whilst there is small print that says extra charges may apply, I think it should be clear upon booking with booking.com that this is an extra cost and also they should advise during check in. I went to the pool but the pool was dirty and extremely run down and not nice to relax around at all. The food was also very overpriced and not good quality. Outside of the room there was a lot of noise, garbage bins and people making loud noise from very early in the morning.
